Meet Danya Anchondo

We recently connected with Danya Anchondo and have shared our conversation below.

Danya , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem by proving myself right. Every time I set a goal, worked towards it, and accomplished it, I built trust within myself. Over time, this process taught me that I’m capable of more than I give myself credit for. Positive feedback definitely helps, but what’s been most empowering is the realization that I can rely on myself to make things happen.

When I was younger, I struggled with embracing who I was. I thought I needed to fit into a mold, but learning about music and art helped me see that being unique is actually what makes someone cool and memorable. Over the years, I’ve worked to build that mindset, but I’d be lying if I said I never get anxious about showing the world who I am. In those moments, I remind myself: ‘If you’re not going to be who you are, then who are you going to be?’ That question keeps me grounded and encourages me to keep pushing forward, no matter how vulnerable it feels.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a model, music producer, recording artist, and creative director, building my brand DIALIFESTYLES—a collective that brings together my work in music, fashion, photography/videography, and art. What excites me most about my journey is the freedom to create and explore bold ideas, drawing inspiration from my life experiences and the moments that deeply resonate with me along the way. DIALIFESTYLES is about celebrating self-expression, embracing imperfection, and living life on your own terms. Right now, I’m focused on developing unreleased music projects, refining my vision, and laying the foundation to share my work with the world.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I’d say one of the most impactful qualities would be consistency in your craft; I wouldn’t have the knowledge I have today if I didn’t continue creating & learning these past 4 years!

Self-motivation has been important, there’s no one to push me forward but myself, so it’s important for me to be consistent. That means staying disciplined and showing up for my work, and reminding myself of the bigger picture even when progress feels slow.

Attention to detail has been key to bringing my vision to life. It’s not just about making sure every element is in its place; it’s about seeing the small, subtle things that can elevate a project from good to great.

If I could offer advice to someone, I’d say begin with the ideas you have right now—build on them, and allow for adjustments along the way. Don’t get stuck on perfection or let the opinions of others hold you back. Fully immerse yourself in your vision, write things down, create voice memos, break from your routine, and surround yourself with like-minded individuals. Learn from different perspectives, and never stop growing. Keep an open mind and trust the process.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

My biggest challenge right now is building a clear structure for my brand, DIALIFESTYLES, while balancing my creative pursuits in music production, modeling, and photography. I’m working on maintaining consistency, clarifying my vision, and crafting a cohesive plan to bring my creative ideas to life and transform them into a business. To overcome this, I’ve been focusing on strategic planning, staying consistent in my craft, learning through experimentation, and seeking collaboration with like-minded creatives to bring fresh perspectives and energy into my journey.
