We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Karyn Chabot a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Karyn with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I was born with a strong Saturn, the planet that governs work ethics. It’s so strong that it has a title: Maha Pancha Purusha Yoga. I must be careful not to overwork or burn myself out consequently. I also inherited this quality from my late father, author of 25 published books on business and marketing, with a master’s degree from Harvard and a professor at several colleges. He was hardly home because his work consumed him. I enjoy my work, so I feel lucky about that.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Karyn Chabot is a distinguished graduate of Goddard College with a bachelor’s in health and nutrition in 1994 and her master’s in writing and Ayurvedic medicine in 2011. She attained diplomas from The Ayurvedic Institute and Universal Massage Therapeutics in NM in 1998. Her journey continued under the guidance of Thomas Morrell and Robert Lee Camp, renowned authors of inspiring astrology and card books. From 2002 to 2012, Karyn pioneered Sacred Stone Massage Therapy, teaching internationally and certifying over 3,000 Sacred Stone Massage Therapists approved by the NCBTMB, RIOPC, and NAMA. She was featured on the cover of industry magazines and interviewed on Fox TV. In 2008, Karyn spent two years at the master’s level at Maharishi University studying Vedic Science. She was initiated as a Sidha in the Transcendental Meditation lineage while also studying Vedic astrology with David Hawthorne. Karyn deepened her studies in Vedic astrology at Arsha Vidya Ashram in PA over the next decade. In 2012, she founded one of RI’s first Yoga-Alliance-approved teacher training programs and private, state-approved, proprietary Ayurvedic Massage Therapy school. By 2018, after immersing herself in the science of the stars for so long, Karyn’s intuition heightened, and she began channeling primordial Star Code formulas. She started teaching Vedic astrology and the 52 Star Code System and continues writing books, counseling, and teaching. She plans to launch the Star Code School online in mid-2025. www.52StarCodes.org
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. Intuition
2. Blind Faith
3. Tenacity
Become more intuitive by cleaning up your diet, removing fluoridated water and toothpaste, and trusting the whispers and knowing that gently float by.
When you understand that the unseen world is more powerful than the seen world and witness the small daily miracles in your life increase as you realize that you are a luminous body or a star-being temporarily occupying a physical body.
Tenacity can be a detriment if one never gives up on something that is a dead end. Trust that you will know when to give up and when to persevere because those answers manifest in your body or as “knowing” in your heart. Become goal-oriented and keep your eye on the goal while enjoying the journey.
How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
I am currently facing how to forgive without an apology.
