We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Marte Siebenhar. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Marte below.
Marte, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
My purpose is to guide transformation — and it found me. People have always looked to me for guidance, even in childhood. Professionally, I provided guidance through business strategy consulting, fundraising and executive coaching. The whole time I was growing through my spiritual practice, which is centered on energy healing. A few years ago, I realized that my coaching delivered much faster results when I integrated energy work to heal the obstacles that were holding my clients back. Now my purpose is to hold space with love to guide transformation.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
As The Business Healer, I help founders, small business owners, and professionals align their inner compass with the outer success they desire. My journey from classical musician to coach and energy practitioner gives me a unique lens on transformation. After my consulting firm secured over $21M in grants for nonprofit clients over five years, I recognized it was time to lean into my deeper passion: guiding purpose-driven entrepreneurs to sustainable, joyful abundance. Now I heal, coach, and facilitate this work full time–with groups, companies, and individuals.
Right now, I’m most excited about my wellness retreats and group programs, which create transformation and a deep community container to support it. For instance, in my Pathway to Prosperity program, we’re witnessing profound shifts. A powerful community is our anchor as participants heal generational patterns, transform their relationship with prosperity, and create lasting positive change in their lives and businesses. The $432,000 in unexpected money and gifts received across our initial cohort was also phenomenal!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Creativity, strategy, and compassion have been the cornerstones of my journey. Creativity helped me with mindset and envisioning new possibilities so I could adapt to challenges. Strategic thinking has been my platform to transform vision into reality, whether securing grants or designing transformative programs and sessions. But perhaps most crucial has been compassion—for myself during setbacks, and for others navigating their own paths to growth.
For fellow founders, I encourage you to cultivate these qualities in a balanced way. Exercise creativity by experimenting with different solutions to your customers’ needs. Develop strategic awareness by blending data with intuition. Notice what energizes both you and your clients, not just what the spreadsheet says. Most importantly, practice compassion: set healthy boundaries without fear of losing clients, trust that your best work flows from a well-rested mind, and remember that authentic connection, not people-pleasing, builds lasting business relationships. Your journey as a founder will naturally strengthen these qualities when you learn it is possible—and prosperous—to both honor your inner wisdom and achieve your biggest business goals.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest growth this year has been fully embracing that sustainable success requires strong boundaries and genuine connection, not people-pleasing. I’ve watched countless high-achieving professionals burn out trying to be everything to everyone, sacrificing their wellbeing for perceived security. But here’s what I’ve learned through my own journey and supporting my clients: When we release the need to overdeliver out of fear, trust our capacity to attract aligned clients, and build authentic support networks, we actually create more prosperity with less exhaustion. This shift isn’t just about working less—it’s about honoring our energy as our most valuable business asset.
