Meet Tori Morrison

We were lucky to catch up with Tori Morrison recently and have shared our conversation below.

Tori, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I think we’re all “looking for our purpose” or as the Japanese call it, your Ikigai or reason for living. I think we all have many purposes or passions in our lifetime, and it’s our choice to determine how we want to shape our lives with that knowledge.

My current purpose is to help women navigate heartbreak and find love through dating, relationship, and intimacy coaching. I focus on energetics and somatic work using tools I learned in therapy and trainings as well as while working through a tough season of heartbreak myself. Life experience is often the best teacher.

We don’t get coached on how to deal with rough seasons of emotional turmoil, heartbreak, and grief growing up, which is to our detriment as we get older and face these setbacks. I teach women how to work through these seasons of grief and come back to their power and self-worth. It’s not easy work, but it’s my soul’s work, and I feel uniquely qualified to answer my soul’s desire to help in this way.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Put simply, I help women with dating, relationships, and intimacy by teaching them about the energetics of these key areas of their lives. I teach them somatic-based and energetic-based tools to help them navigate heartbreak, grief, dating, relationships, love, and sex in a way that’s in alignment with their highest and greatest good.

My business is called Haven Sisterhood and we offer in-person retreats, one-on-one coaching, and courses like our energetics of dating course. You can find out more about us online at www.havensisterhood.com or haven_sisterhood on Instagram.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Learning to trust my intuition

Learn how to read your body’s cues. This will help you live a life you’re a full-on yes to.

2. Investing in my relationship with myself AND my closest friends

Learn to become your hero and inspiration, and watch your life transform. Also, life becomes so much fuller and richer when you invest in friendships where you’re seen, loved, and appreciated for your unique self.

3. Figuring out and accepting I’m human

You’re human. You will make mistakes. You will fail. What matters is if you let that define you. You are not defined by past errors, mistakes, or failures. You are defined by how you take action today – that mindset is everything.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’d love to connect with other retreat leaders in the health and wellness space who are passionate about supporting women through heartbreak. I’m looking at the Reiki practitioners, kundalini bodyworkers, yoga teachers, etc.
