Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sarah Flores. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Sarah, so glad you were able to set aside some time for us today. We’ve always admired not just your journey and success, but also the seemingly high levels of self-discipline that you seem to have mastered and so maybe we can start by chatting about how you developed it or where it comes from?
Discipline tends to start from motivation for most. We have a goal we want to achieve, therefore, this is what is needed to achieve that goal. But sometimes we achieve all of our goals and do not feel the need to set new ones. Sometimes we simply do not feel motivated. What keeps you going is when you remain disciplined enough to develop a habit which is where true change comes into play. We want to get to a point where we feel like crap if we don’t workout. Or we eat something unhealthy and the feeling is well ok, I did that, but I don’t feel great, so its going to be a while before I do that again. In December, we tend to see people fall off of their routines and their workouts, healthy eating, etc. But I would challenge anyone to remain consistent during the hardest times it can be to remain consistent, and discipline will come, which will lead to habit and change. I will start Monday is never a set up for success. The time is now.

I am so excited for what’s to come in 2025 and beyond for Winter Park Yoga. Health is Wealth and we want everyone to be the healthiest version of themselves, not just physically but for the person as a whole. This is why we love to partner with other like minded local businesses to host events all things health and wellness. We have infrared heat panels which are proving to have significant health benefits including improved recovery, sleep, pain relief, detoxification, stress reduction, weight loss, inflammation reduction, and so much more. We also incorporate aromatherapy into every class.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
A willingness to take risk, perseverance, and ability to never take anything personally.

So far we have partnered with juice companies, a local tea company, a hypnotherapist, local doulas, local chiropractors, skincare specialists, etc..
