Deano, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I discovered my true purpose when I first picked up a camera at the age of 12. Photography provided me with an outlet to express my creativity and showcase my talents to the world. In 2018, I decided to create social media profiles to share my work, which eventually led to the founding of Deano Studios LLC. What started as a platform to display my photos quickly evolved into something more meaningful—a community that I began to cultivate.

The core values that drive Deano Studios LLC. are positivity, creativity, and presence. These principles have shaped not only my work but the relationships I’ve built along the way. The ultimate purpose behind my business is to bring a bright spot to someone’s day through the art of photography and by connecting them to the beauty of nature.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a professional photographer and social media content creator. What began as a hobby—taking photos at every opportunity—soon evolved into a desire to turn my passion into a business. I initially showcased my work on social media, using it as a platform to display and share my photos. Over time, I established business profiles, and Deano Studios LLC. was born.

Throughout my photography journey, I’ve seized every opportunity to capture diverse subjects, including portraits, wildlife, landscapes, weddings, concerts, and daily life. I am deeply passionate about being behind the camera, capturing moments that tell meaningful stories. While I specialize in wildlife and nature photography, I take great pride in capturing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in various beautiful locations. Traveling to photograph the world’s natural beauty is something I am committed to, and I look forward to continuing this journey.

One of my proudest achievements has been having several of my images published in magazines and other forms of media, which has been a rewarding milestone in my career.

As I look toward the future, I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for my business. I plan to continue engaging with my growing community on social media by posting regularly and sharing my work. Additionally, I am eager to expand my portfolio, particularly within the realms of sports, motorsports, and the concert scene.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The Three Most Important Qualities I’ve Learned:

1. Putting Yourself Out There: The most important lesson I’ve learned is the value of stepping outside of your comfort zone. It’s essential to be willing to put in the necessary work and time to chase your dreams. Without taking that first step and showing up, growth and success are difficult to achieve.

2. Repetition and Consistency: The second key lesson I’ve learned is the power of repetition. It’s crucial to continually work on your craft and improve. To keep my creativity flowing, I’ve committed to photo challenges, including taking a photo every day for a year. This practice has helped me maintain consistency and refine my skills, even when the conditions or subjects aren’t ideal.

3. Being Present: The third most important quality I’ve embraced is being fully present in the moment. It’s important to put yourself in positions that enable success, whether that means networking, connecting with your community, or simply embracing and living in the moment you’re in.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my mother has done for me is being my biggest supporter and fan throughout my journey. She has consistently shown unwavering support for my dreams and has always been there to encourage me. Whether it’s been through the ups and downs of my career or the spontaneous adventures I embark on, her presence and belief in me have been a constant source of motivation and inspiration.
