Meet Monte Mcneal

I was always told at the beginning of my career “stay ready so u dnt have to get ready” and it stuck with me til this day. I always have more then enough songs when people ask…more then enough songs when it comes to an album or mixtape. Beats and etc I just stay ready so when any opportunity arises im prepared and ready for it

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

To be honest it was all God. God blessed me with the talent and the ability to sing rap and make beats and engineer. I didn’t go to school for nothing. I didn’t have singing lessons no rap lessons I was only in the band. I was blessed with friend who I now call brothers in Rashaud Polk, Doron Polk, Robert Thompson, and Larry Mayo. I watched them rap and make beats and play piano and I wanted to do what they do. As far as artist are concerned my favorite are Ludacris and T Pain and it shows in my music. I will tell anyone who has a dream to be in any type of music to never give up. Work on your craft and take it serious, if necessary consider going to school. I was blessed with the talent bt I also may consider doing that as well to master the skill.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The Bible!
I’m a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ. Without him I would not be here. Some of those scriptures in the Bible like
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Philippians 4:19
And my God will (supply) meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

And so much more bt that book will change your life if u read it.
