We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Veronica Anile. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Veronica below.
Hi Veronica, thank you so much for joining us today. There are so many topics we could discuss, but perhaps one of the most relevant is empathy because it’s at the core of great leadership and so we’d love to hear about how you developed your empathy?
I developed a deep sense of empathy very early on. I was born in Mexico in extreme poverty. I was abandoned by my mother after birth and raised by my sweet abuelita. At the age of 6 years old my mother returned to kidnap me and smuggled me into El Paso, Texas, USA, where I lived a life filled with sexual abuse and terror. At the age of 15 I ran away. My life has been extremely hard. I found drugs and experienced homelessness along with many other hardships. I like to say that I am an expert at everything that can go wrong in life. It is for that reason that I feel empathy for others because I too may have experienced their suffering at some point in my life.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
In January 2022, I wrote and self-published “MY LIFE MY STORY, God, You Owe Me!” a collection of memories written to ignite conversations to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and to bring hope to those that suffered trauma. In the collection of memories, I share details of my life and how I navigated my way out of the abuse only to find myself addicted to drugs and on my way to California. This book went to #4 on Amazon’s new hot releases and was translated in Slovakian and Spanish. My Slovakian version become a #1 and best seller.
In November of 2021 I found out that I have very powerful psychic abilities and they took over my life in a way that I was unable to deny them. And so, I left my thriving career as a permanent cosmetic professional behind and became a psychic healer.
In October 2022, I released my second self-published book, “Holy Sh*t I’m a Fu***ng Psychic!” In this lighthearted book, I identify as a self-proclaimed spiritual comedian to take readers on a real journey of how I began to experience psychic abilities. The book is raw, foul mouthed, and completely honest about my feelings about the psychic realm that is now my home. In this collection of cases, I share details of some of my most memorable moments.
I am now living in California, Europe and Dubai. I have taken on a new language and have written 3 children’s books which will be released in September.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The 3 qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been the most impactful in my journey are:
1 – FAITH
I have always had faith in a higher power and the knowledge that life itself is preparation for death and reincarnation. It is though faith that I live knowing that everything that happens- happens as it should and with this perspective, I remain happy and at peace.
2- GRACE
It is my intention every day to live with grace. This means that I love and honor everyone around me. When I feel unstable, I pray for grace.
3-GRATITUDE
Having lived the life I have been granted, I know what it is like not to have, love, money, food, friends, hope, etc. Therefore, now I do not take anything for granted. When I find myself sad or uneasy, I fill my mind with gratitude, This helps me remain balanced and living in the present moment.
What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
The number one obstacle I face every day as a psychic is the ability to remain grounded. Alot of psychics become aware of their gift at an early age and have most of their life to process their gift and soon it becomes part of their identity. For me, I feel like I struggle with an identity crisis because it is so new and so powerful. From the moment it took over my life, I began to take on clients all over the world. When I sit alone and process the miracles of my readings, I am mind blown. At times, it is hard for me to find my way back to the old Veronica, the normal human who didn’t connect to the dead or bring messages of love and hope from spirit animals. To ensure that I do not struggle with imposter syndrome or an identity crisis, I share my feelings with my closest loved ones first. Their support has really helped me stay grounded. I also wrote my book and kept it supper raw so that I wouldn’t lose myself in this gift. I meditate and cultivate a healthy relationship with a higher power, whom I call God and the Holy Spirit.
