Meet Kelly Reid

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kelly Reid. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kelly below.

Kelly, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Honestly, it all came from my daughter. When she was born, I had this huge realization: if I wanted her to grow up confident and self-assured, I needed to be the best example for her.

With the world being what it is, I knew I couldn’t control what others might say or think about her—but I could teach her that the most important opinion is her own. And to do that, I had to start living that truth myself.

So, I started working on my mindset, embracing who I am, and showing up as the best version of me—not just for her, but for me too. Because I want her to grow up knowing that she’s enough, just as she is. And the best way to teach that? By showing her that I believe it about myself.

She’s my “why” and the biggest reason I’ve grown into the confident woman I am today.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a motherhood and fashion content creator on Instagram and LTK, where I share a mix of raw, real-life moments and everyday style inspiration. For me, the most exciting part of what I do is connecting with others and encouraging them to embrace who they truly are. I’m passionate about being authentic in a world that often pressures us to be perfect, and I love showing that it’s okay to celebrate the beautiful chaos of motherhood while staying true to yourself.

What makes my content unique is the balance between relatability and inspiration. Whether I’m sharing motherhood experiences, fashion finds, or tips for juggling it all, I want my audience to feel encouraged, seen, and supported. It’s about more than just style or parenting—it’s about building confidence and finding joy in the everyday moments.

Professionally, I’m focused on growing my brand to reach even more people who need a little positivity and encouragement in their feed. I’m currently working on expanding into new projects, including a social media guide for beginners and collaborations that align with my values of authenticity and empowerment.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create a space where people feel inspired to embrace who they are and live confidently—whether that’s through a chic outfit, a motherhood story, or a reminder that we’re all in this together. There’s so much more to come, and I’m excited to share it all!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that were most impactful in my journey to finding confidence—and eventually starting my social media presence—were self-acceptance, courage, and purpose.
1. Self-Acceptance: My journey began with embracing who I am, flaws and all. For the longest time, I felt pressure to fit into molds that weren’t meant for me. But once I learned to accept myself fully, I realized that confidence comes from within, not from anyone else’s validation. My advice for those just starting out is to stop comparing yourself to others. Your uniqueness is your greatest strength, and once you embrace it, others will be drawn to it, too.
2. Courage: Starting my social media journey was scary at first. Putting myself out there for others to see and judge felt intimidating. But stepping out of my comfort zone and taking that leap gave me the freedom to connect with people who needed to hear my story. My advice? Start before you’re ready. Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s moving forward despite it.
3. Purpose: What gave me the confidence to keep going was knowing why I started. I wanted to inspire others to embrace themselves, to build confidence, and to know they weren’t alone—especially as a mom. My advice is to find your purpose. Ask yourself, “What do I want to share, and who am I doing this for?” Having a clear purpose will give you direction and keep you motivated, even on tough days.

Finding my confidence and discovering my “why” gave me the push to start sharing my journey on social media. And now, I’m here encouraging others to do the same—step into their power, find their voice, and show the world what makes them unique. If you’re just beginning your journey, trust yourself and take it one step at a time. Confidence will grow as you do.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Absolutely! I am always open to partnering and collaborating with like-minded individuals and brands. I’m particularly interested in working with those who align with my focus on motherhood, fashion, and lifestyle. This includes brands that empower women, celebrate authenticity, or provide products and services that make life easier, more stylish, or more joyful for moms and families.

I also love collaborating with other creators who share a passion for inspiring confidence and building connections, whether through content creation, community projects, or social campaigns.

If you’re reading this and think we’d be a great fit, I’d love to hear from you! The best way to connect with me is through Instagram—send me a DM, or you can reach out via email for more details. Let’s create something amazing together!
