Meet Alexandra Roses & Leigha Lane

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Alexandra Roses & Leigha Lane a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandra Roses & Leigha Lane, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Ritual was born out of a deep desire for something we couldn’t find locally—a community that truly blends wellness, beauty, and connection. As we talked with friends, we realized we weren’t alone in wanting a space that fosters both self-care and meaningful relationships.
Our journey as co-founders started in an unexpected but organic way—Leigha has been Alex’s colorist for years, and through countless hours in the salon chair, our friendship grew. Those conversations sparked the idea for Ritual, and before we knew it, we were manifesting and building something that felt both necessary and deeply personal. At its core, Ritual is about making a difference in our community, creating a space where people can come together, feel seen, and invest in their well-being.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

At Ritual, our mission is to create a space where people can become the best version of themselves—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. We believe in offering opportunities for new experiences, meaningful connections, and a break from the day-to-day grind. So many of us hear that little voice saying, ‘There has to be more outside of the daily grind,’ and we wanted to create a community that answers that call.
Our journey started with a leap—shifting from corporate life and hairstyling to fully embracing the wellness space. We’ve seen firsthand how holding space for others can be transformative, whether it’s through shared movement, thoughtful conversations, or simply creating an environment where adult friendships can thrive. Ritual isn’t just about self-care; it’s about connection, growth, and finding your people.
We’re also excited about what’s ahead! From curated wellness events to immersive experiences that go beyond traditional fitness and beauty, we’re constantly evolving to bring more depth, connection, and inspiration to our community. Stay tuned for what’s next!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Vulnerability has allowed us to be open—both with ourselves and with the people we’re building this for. Being real about challenges, learning curves, and the unknowns has helped us stay grounded and authentic in our mission. For those starting out, we’d say: don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. People connect with honesty, not perfection.
Tenacity has been essential in navigating the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. Building something from the ground up takes resilience, and there will be moments of doubt. Trust yourself, keep pushing forward, and remember why you started. A great way to develop this? Surround yourself with people who lift you up and remind you of your strengths.
Finally, community is everything. Ritual wouldn’t exist without the relationships we’ve built along the way. Whether it’s mentors, collaborators, or the people you serve—prioritize real, meaningful connections. If you’re just starting out, engage with your community early and often. Listen, learn, and build something that truly resonates with the people around you.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

We’re always looking to collaborate with like-minded brands that align with our mission of cultivating community and holistic wellness—mind, body, and soul. We believe in the power of local partnerships, working with businesses that are deeply connected to the Atlanta community. But we also have big dreams of expanding and collaborating with brands outside of Atlanta that share our values.
We’re open to corporate partnerships, wellness brands, and community-driven organizations that want to create meaningful experiences together. Whether it’s co-hosting events, offering unique activations, or finding creative ways to support each other, we love working with brands that genuinely want to give back and foster connection.
If you’re interested in collaborating, let’s chat! Reach out to us via Instagram (@theritual.atl) or email ([email protected])—we’d love to explore ways we can work together.
