We recently connected with Alessandra Anizio and have shared our conversation below.
Alessandra, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
Believing in myself fuels my motivation and determination, making me more likely to succeed.
a realistic understanding of my strengths and weaknesses and trusting that I have the ability to learn,
grow, and adapt to whatever life throws my way.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I consider myself a designer by soul, and for the last 14 years,
I’ve had the privilege of working in the vibrant event design community of South Florida. My Brazilian roots have deeply
influenced my creative process, allowing me to infuse my designs with a sense of energy and cultural richness. My style of designing parties, such as weddings, sweet 16, grand opening ,and big celebrations come from my background combined with my experience and my expertise.
My company is always brings the latest from the industry .
Beyond event designs, our expertise extends to consulting services, providing strategic guidance and full event coordination.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My resilience, knowing my limits, as well as believing in myself have all played a major role in my journey to where I am now. My advice is that It’s crucial to understand your own unique value. Simply copying others won’t help you achieve your goals. You need to be aware of your own strengths and what you bring to the table in order to effectively serve your clients.
Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
Being an immigrant designer from Brazil has been a powerful learning experience. My cultural perspective gives my work a distinct flavor, but it’s also required me to develop strong communication and cross-cultural understanding skills. Bridging the cultural gap and building trust with clients and collaborators has been a challenge, but it’s ultimately made me a more adaptable and empathetic designer.
