We were lucky to catch up with Erin Gavin recently and have shared our conversation below.
Erin , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
From watching the movie Annie as a kid. I wanted to play Annie! I would stand up on my Grannys mantel peice and act our all the songs and scenes and my family members would be my audience.
My first audition was to play Annie at 6 yrs old and I booked it and never looked back!
I love being creative and love the entertainment world.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My record label chimmed in to write this one!
Erin Gavin is a Scottish actress turned recording artist whose music has been captivating audiences around the world. After signing with Serdica Records in 2019, she released her debut single, “I’m Through with Love,” which gained global attention. She followed that with a fresh take on “Santa Baby” in 2021, featured in a commercial for a major makeup brand. In 2022, she released “I WANNA BE LOVED BY YOU,” and in 2024, “Hollywood” continued to highlight her diverse musical talents.
Erin’s single “Love for the Game” became even more iconic when it was chosen as the lead song for the Oscar-qualifying live-action short film Gaming for Love. This achievement demonstrated her ability to not only create catchy tunes but also to connect her music with impactful storytelling in film.
And now, Erin is gearing up for her next release, with her new single “Mr Dylan” coming out on February 24th, 2025. With her signature blend of modern pop and timeless influences, “Mr Dylan” is sure to be another standout in her growing music catalog.
Beyond music, Erin is also a succesful actress, owns talent agency and continues to make waves in the world of filmmaking, entrepreneurship, and the arts. But it’s her music that truly showcases her unique creativity and versatility, with each release continuing to push boundaries.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Versatility: Erin has shown an incredible ability to transition from acting to music while seamlessly blending different genres and styles. Whether it’s classic pop, jazz, or contemporary ballads, her musical range allows her to continuously evolve and appeal to diverse audiences.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Beyond her artistic talents, Erin has demonstrated strong entrepreneurial skills. From founding her own talent agency to managing her career and music releases, her business savvy has played a significant role in building her brand and sustaining her artistic journey.
Emotional Resonance in Storytelling: Erin’s ability to connect emotionally with her audience through both her acting and music is a powerful skill. Her song “Love for the Game” was not just a track, but a perfect match for the storytelling in Gaming for Love. This shows her keen sense of narrative and how she blends her artistry with meaningful projects.

Oversaturation of Content with new music. With the rise of streaming platforms, social media, and digital distribution, there is an overwhelming amount of music being released every single day. This makes it hard for any one artist to stand out, as listeners are bombarded with new content constantly. Even talented musicians can get lost in the noise if they don’t have the right exposure or marketing strategy.
