Meet Reggie Cobio

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Reggie Cobio a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Reggie, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Growing up My Family Really didn’t have much. My Dad Stepped up as a man at 15 and dropped out of high school to raise my sister with my mom . At around when he was 20 years old I was born & as I grew older my pops wanted me to know nothing about never having a meal or me not being able to get the toys I wanted , because he never had it in his childhood. My pops hustled a way to provide for his family and now owns properties; business; managing 3 major companies . My pops always wanted me to understand the hard work it takes to make your dreams come true but that if your persistent & and do things the right way you will see your reward . Ever since then I know nothing but working and using my body as a machine To overcome and Continue pushing forward boldly till you get what you want out this life .

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m just a Mexican from the Northside of Houston, Texas who just like many from my city are just trying to survive another day and make it out for our brothers . I was born and raised in Houston , Texas the last 24 Years of my life & i went to Westfield High-school graduating class of 2019. Since I was 16 I’ve been bouncing around job to job and could never catch me nothing stable long enough for me to get on my feet . In high school I took a photography class and the teacher felt I had a talent for it early on , however I couldn’t imagine myself being a photographer/ videographer doing the career I do now . I started my camera business as a way to turns my brothers who make music and rap and didn’t have the money for it all the way so I turned they’re dreams to a reality and we been doing shows ; and cool events but the hustle don’t stop there ! My story is a long one !!!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Stay humble ; Stay persistent & keep God First & everything will fall into place in due time ..but until you can shine ; Endure the fire .. Pressure makes diamonds …

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
