Meet Minh Tran

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Minh Tran a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Minh, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

I am highly inspired to keep my creativity alive in a way that suits me. When I was younger, I always watched fashion-related shows, even cartoons about fashion, like Littlest Pet Shop. Because of this, I have always wanted to create outfits through thrifting or take high-quality photographs for friends and family.

To keep this passion burning inside me, I draw inspiration from various sources, including my TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram algorithms. I admire many influencers who inspire me in fashion design. There are multiple fashion styles out there, and I would love to explore the ones that suit me while also helping my friends find their own unique styles.

To me, keeping creativity alive and making it your own is influenced by friends, family, and the perspectives of others—not to mention the algorithm that reflects your personal interests. Creativity is something children naturally possess, but maintaining it as you grow older can be challenging due to life’s stress and hardships. However, as long as you have passion and an open mind, your creativity will continue to thrive.

For example, I have my own code for a lifestyle brand called Ham Chơi and another for a clothing brand called AOKLOK. I was able to collaborate with these brands by sharing and keeping my creativity active. I hope to inspire others to do the same and hope they would keep themselves open up for creativity like I have.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

As a content creator and fashion enthusiast, I showcase clothing from brands I collaborate with while also advertising their products. As part of my content creation, I make TikToks and post moments from my life for my friends and followers to see—whether it’s sharing cool cafés, restaurants, or products they might be interested in.

It excites me that I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with two brands: AOKLOK, a streetwear clothing brand known for its high-quality materials and stylish designs, and Ham Chơi, an Asian lifestyle brand that hosts social events such as clubbing and raves for people looking to connect and make new friends.

I genuinely enjoy creating and sharing content, and I love capturing moments with my friends on my Instagram stories. Through this journey, I’ve made many connections worldwide—some are gym influencers, while others are in fashion, content creation, or gaming. Watching my mutuals grow alongside me is incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to securing new brand deals and expanding my network even further.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Being social, introverted or extroverted, just be yourself, you’ll find people who will support and relate to your topics.
Being able to market and advertise your products or others.Lastly, know you’re topic, if you are a fashion enthusiast please DO NOT WEAR SKINNY JEANS.
for advices I would like to give to others would be that, never give up, you’ll start small but it will eventually grow, slow or fast, it will grow.
