We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bj So Cole a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Bj, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I get it from my mom very strong women

I am Bj so Cole Kenner la born
New Orleans native graduated from L.E Rabouin high
Finished college at southern university New Orleans La in business and public administration
Started doing bounce music 10yrs ago after I lost my best friend scooby gave me the courage to step forward and make my presents known. I’ve created several viral hits prior to the bloom of TikTok then I began to trend their also growing my music and fan base beyond anything I’ve seen locally amazing it push me harder to create and produce quality music for all ages without so much negativity in wording but for all to relate I have new music and collaborations coming with a few big influencers and rappers I was apart of the huge break of trip out movement which I’m extremely proud of with my song pop it with dj Rari and the TikTok army I’m trending to become more international and start my own label and marketing company to grow artists one day
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
School , failing , working a job omg
For upcoming artists stay in the fight everything is meant to happen that way grow learn re developing is ok
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would like to collaborate with a few artist in bounce nationally
Some of the bounce girls that rap have some bangers like Dino BTW huge fan Heaven Reedy & Treety just to name a few real raw talent
Some guys also people might not know I love rap / hip hop Rob 49 Neno Calvin and huge fan of YD the illest music his son be Tripp out to my music super funny NLE choppa Kanye West Chance the Rapper Lil Wayne and the queen Nicki
