We were lucky to catch up with Canon Creationz recently and have shared our conversation below.
Canon, thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?
My mom, she was always a hard worker.. no matter what it was (Unless it came down to her children) she was working, I grew up watching her be a go get it kind of person which molded me into who I am today, I saw her work hard and I wanna do the same, I constantly push myself no matter what it is.. it’s always good to self discipline.

What’s up with it!! I’m Canon Creationz a ATL Based Photographer. I’ve been in the photography world for 7 years now. I started out doing Weddings and Sports Photography which I still currently provide +more!! Im one of the most down to earth photographers you’d meet and I consider all of my clients family.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Learn, Learn, Learn. No matter how good you think you are or know you are there is always more room to learn more things, as well as networking.. meeting with people who have the same interests as you, who are going on the same journey as you, or who as already been on that journey. You never know what you can learn that’ll help get your journey going in a great path.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m willing to collaborate with anyone who has that same drive as me and creativity, who’s willing to think outside the box and not scared to be different, I’ve always been the type to hate fitting in and going along with what society thinks is “normal” or what we SHOULD do. People who are different and like to do different things no matter who may criticize them always spark my interest so if you’re that person hit me up on my insta @canoncreationz_ let’s work!!!
