Meet Vashaun Davis

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vashaun Davis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Vashaun , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I had learn everything I know from working with my uncle Shane fitness and branching off on my own brand called V2fitness it really started when I was kid being out there on that football field. I always had that drive of wanting to workout and work on my health and wellness, which inspired me and I started to help my clients achieve theirs fitness goals it started when I was little kid I would always do push ups look in the mirror and was like I wanted to be a personal trainer. It took me time to be where I am now. I had to learn and move around to be better.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I created a movement called V2Fitness to help those who may be in need of guidance, may not have enough motivation, you are trying hard to change your life around. If you want to work on your health wellness and may not can’t afford to pay a gym membership each month on top of paying a trainer, I created an online site to still work with my clients. When I was a little kid I use to sing and dance at the family weddings, I knew that I wanted to become a singer I would stay up all night singing Micheal Jackson learning his dance moves. I knew I wanted to and had to mix my music with my fitness.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Learning good customer service, getting to know each of my clients and their skills level, knowing I have control and can help make a change in my clients life. I know I’m doing my job right when my client has a smile at every session ready to go. I get asked a lot why do I love my job, it’s a passion something I had love to do, and I knew I had to to go harder

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

I can say my dad has help me in so many ways he guided me through and told me the steps how to go with starting my business. Having him by my side and in my ear giving me feedback and for pushing me to go harder and never give up. Working with Shane fitness really helped me in the future with running my own business, watching my uncle work his step class to you sweat, I Knew it was more steps I had to make in order for my business grow.
