Hi Quincy, so happy to have you on the platform with us today and excited to chat about your lessons and insights. Our ability to make good decisions can massively impact our lives, careers and relationships and so it would be very helpful to hear about how you built your decision-making skills.

The Military. I served 21years in the Army. 5 of them enlisted and 16 years as a Logistics Officer. And as an Officer but especially a logistics Officer you had to figure things out. Moving Soldiers, Feeding Soldiers and providing lifeline support during combat operations was my critical skill. Adaption to the environment and leadership made me strong because I knew Soldiers are leaning on me to support them. SO I HAD to make good decisions. I had to think about readiness because it meant survival.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My name is Quincy, and I am a Small Business Owner in the world of Food Trucks and Lemonade. What drives me is not just the delicious taste of freshly squeezed lemonades, but the desire to create a new culture of value around this timeless beverage. I want to build a lasting legacy for my family while spreading the art of lemonade-making across the globe. Inspired by books like ‘Brad Sugars- Billionaire in Training’ and ‘Gary Vaynerchuk-Crushing It’, and Kevin O’Leary “Cold Hard Truth”. I am on a mission to bring joy and refreshment to every corner of the world through my passion for Food Trucks and Lemonade.

In the third person: Quincy is driven and assertive, excelling in competitive and challenging environments. He is decisive and prefers to operate in large social circles, and he can be cooperative when required. Quincy also has a determined side, demonstrated by his goal to build a business for his family legacy and spread the art of fresh squeezed lemonades across the world. His choices reflect a preference for success and achievement rather than mundane occupations. Quincy’s interests revolve around food trucks, lemonade, small business ownership, and spreading the art of fresh squeezed lemonades across the world.

Cuties Lemonade and More is a food truck turned-beverage-stand that serves up a variety of REAL fruit-flavored lemonades in Phoenix, Arizona since 2017. We specialize in made-to-order, single serve pre-bottled and catered served lemonade beverages. We also serve single served fresh squeezed lemonade slushies in various flavors. Our beverages are carefully measured and fully fresh. Hand-selected lemons are a variety freshly squeezed so you know you’re getting the real thing. Our limitless capacity to serve any large or small size. Our company has over nine years of beverage catering, bartending and food industry services and was selected as a Business Connect Vendor for the Super Bowl in 2023. We were also the winners of the BeLOCAL Magazine “Best of Ahwatukee” and voted best drink at Foodstock 2023. We have four food trucks and a brick and mortar in the AZ Mills Mall and are opening another store in Tampa, Florida at the Countryside Mall in April.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Entrepreneurs must be passionate and creative individuals who thrives in their world of industry. I hate to say it but there isn’t any focus of particular skills that ensure anyone’s success. College and training don’t matter. If you are a hustler and you are passionate then good business and money will actually find you.

I personally focused on creating a new culture around fresh squeezed lemonades and building a business that happens to serve lemonade drinks. Partially because the crap that you get in the big market such as so called lemonade doesn’t even provide actually lemons. I dare you to name a fresh squeezed lemonade that has more than 10% lemon juice in it. It isn’t out there! Because of that Cuties Lemonade is born!

Overall, this is my second career post my military service and now I serve to form a legacy for my family. That’s my why! Entrepreneurs that are early on their journey need to find inspiration. Look a-like’s that they can impersonate in the beginning while they are finding their personal niche. Famous business folks which highlight the entrepreneurial spirit. I personally look up to popular figures such as Anthony Bourdain, Guy Fieri, Martha Stewart, who have made their mark in the food industry. Since my interests revolve around food trucks, lemonade, small business ownership, and spreading the art of fresh squeezed lemonade slushies, I have an unpaved road because nobody has ever taken on massive success in this space. So, I guess that makes me unique?!
