Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Federico Cali. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Federico , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic is rooted in the belief that I should always deliver the same level of service and dedication that I would expect to receive. I understand that people generally aren’t concerned about your personal challenges—whether you’re sick, sad, or dealing with difficulties. What matters to them is your ability to maintain a consistent and reliable work ethic.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
At Blue Edge Business Solutions, we go beyond traditional marketing. We specialize in Google Local Services Ads, Google Ads, SEO, social media management, and website development, but what truly sets us apart is our commitment to real, measurable growth for our clients. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all marketing—we create custom strategies based on industry trends, competition, and business goals.
Over the past year alone, we’ve helped our clients generate over $20 million in revenue, and we continue to refine our strategies to ensure businesses thrive in an ever-changing digital landscape.
Beyond marketing, we’ve built a creative and professional hub in Savannah—a place where entrepreneurs, students, and artists can collaborate, learn, and grow. Our studio at 300 Drayton St is not just an office; it’s a community space where people can network, work on creative projects, and develop professionally.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, I’d say there were three key things that had the biggest impact on my journey: adaptability, relationship-building, and execution.
Adaptability was huge because the business world—especially marketing—is always changing. When I first started, social media advertising was still in its early days, and most businesses were focused on traditional marketing like TV and radio. I had to learn quickly that what worked one year might be completely irrelevant the next. Being able to pivot, experiment, and refine strategies based on real-world results made all the difference. I’d tell anyone starting out to stay curious, pay attention to what’s working, and never be afraid to adjust. The ability to solve problems on the fly and keep learning is what will set you apart.
The second thing is relationships. I’ve always believed that success isn’t just about what you know—it’s about who you can help and who can help you. Whether it’s clients, mentors, or the team you surround yourself with, relationships are everything. I learned early on that being transparent, communicating clearly, and genuinely listening to people makes a huge difference. Clients appreciate honesty, and trust is something you earn by consistently doing what you say you will. If you’re just starting out, don’t underestimate the power of networking—not just for business deals, but to surround yourself with people who challenge you, push you forward, and help you grow.
And then there’s execution. Ideas are great, but if you don’t take action, they don’t mean anything. I’ve met so many people with incredible ideas who never get past the planning stage because they’re waiting for the perfect moment. The truth is, you’re never going to feel 100% ready, and if you wait too long, you’ll miss opportunities. I’ve learned that done is better than perfect—you launch, you learn, you adjust. It’s about having the discipline to show up every day, do the work, and keep pushing forward, even when things don’t go as planned. Failure is part of the process, but as long as you’re learning from it and making adjustments, you’re still moving in the right direction.
So if I had to sum it up, I’d say be adaptable, build strong relationships, and take action. Surround yourself with smart, driven people, and don’t be afraid to start before you feel ready. The people who succeed aren’t always the ones with the best ideas—they’re the ones who actually do something with them.
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Our ideal client is someone who understands that marketing is an investment, not an expense. The businesses we work best with are the ones that see the value in strategy, data, and long-term growth, rather than just quick fixes or instant results. We’re not the right fit for someone who just wants to “try” marketing for a month to see what happens—successful marketing requires consistency, testing, and refinement.
We also love working with business owners who have a clear vision but need the right strategy to bring it to life. Whether it’s a small business looking to dominate their local market or a larger company wanting to scale, the common denominator is commitment. The best clients trust the process, are open to new ideas, and are willing to collaborate.
Another key characteristic of an ideal client is being growth-minded. The businesses that see the best results with us are the ones that are ready to scale, have a strong product or service, and are prepared to handle the leads and sales that come from effective marketing. If your business isn’t in a position to take on new customers, then marketing won’t solve the problem—it will just highlight it. That’s why we have real conversations upfront about whether a business is truly ready to grow.
At the end of the day, we want to work with serious, results-driven businesses that are willing to put in the work alongside us. When we team up with the right clients, we don’t just help them grow—we help them dominate their industry.
