Jeannie, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
The need to provide for my family
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I started my home bakery when the pandemic hit and my cleaning business took a huge 6 figure hit to our income so my love for baking turned into a profitable home business that continues to grow yearly i was even chosen as one of the top women in business 2023 by Delaware Today
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I am a self taught baker and decorator and live by the saying if you don’t know your worth no one else will ether
What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
I think my number 1 obstacle is not having a storefront I have to turn down so Nami custom orders because I just don’t have the space and unfortunately spaces are hard to find affordable in the area
