Meet Michel Thomann

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Michel Thomann a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Michel, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

From my mother she was very generose

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I have over 30 years of culinary experience, which widely varies from catering for large groups, owning restaurants,
and working as a private and head chef. Culinary Arts has always been a strong passion of mine because it allows me
to explore my creativity through an art that all sorts of individuals can enjoy. I have worked in France, Switzerland,
and the United States with many different people and types of food. My international experiences as a chef has
greatly improved my culinary abilities, which I hope to utilize at your establishment.
The restaurants that I have run and owned have achieved many accomplishments, such as customer satisfaction
awards, 4.8 star reviews on Google and Trip Advisor, and positive reviews by the French government. In 2015 and
2016, I was recognized as Top 1,000 world chefs by Chef Alaine Ducasse and the French government. I am confident
that your decision to contact me for an interview will be well worth your time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Consistance
Discipline
