Meet Wendy Merino-olivares

We recently connected with Wendy Merino-olivares and have shared our conversation below.

Wendy , so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

I used to struggle with imposter syndrome, constantly overthinking and doubting myself. But I realized that overthinking is the greatest killer of talent and authenticity. To overcome this, I had to do deep inner work what I call working on my ‘shadow self.’ I like to describe it like Shrek says, ‘Ogres are like onions, full of layers.’ Peeling back those layers led me to embrace my true self completely, not just parts of me.

A huge part of this journey was the support and guidance from incredible people like Eugenia from Eclipse.by.eqb and Erika from the Now Us Foundation, whom I met through Kelly from Lunam Love. They helped reignite the spark in me, reminding me of the incredible person I am. Through this process, I learned to fully step into my authenticity, no longer feeling like an imposter but instead embracing my essence with confidence.

Now, I use my own experiences my wounds, my struggles as tools to help others. I’ve transformed my pain into purpose, and that’s what drives me in everything I do.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My journey into holistic healing began with my background as a health professional. Through my work in healthcare, I realized the importance of wellness as a whole mind, body, and spirit before illness begins. This understanding led me to explore deeper healing modalities that address not just physical symptoms, but the emotional and energetic imbalances that contribute to overall well-being.

I am the founder of Heavenly Earth Crystals, a space dedicated to healing, empowerment, and self-discovery. My work revolves around guiding individuals and families to break generational cycles, reconnect with their authentic selves, and step into their full power.

As a Reiki practitioner and holistic healer, I offer one-on-one sessions that help clients reprogram their minds and release limiting beliefs. Through guided meditation, sound healing, and coaching, I support people in navigating their personal transformation. I also host group sound baths for individuals, corporate wellness events, and private gatherings, incorporating the power of crystals to enhance the healing experience.

What excites me most about my work is witnessing people step into their truth—seeing them heal, grow, and embrace who they truly are. Healing is not just an individual journey; it ripples out into families and communities, breaking cycles and creating a new foundation for future generations.

One of my most special offerings is my monthly Sunday group sound bath at Magic Johnson Park in Los Angeles. This event is an opportunity for the community to come together in a beautiful outdoor space, immerse themselves in sound healing, and experience deep relaxation and renewal. It’s open to everyone, whether you’re new to sound baths or have experienced them before.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding my offerings, including hosting more community events and corporate wellness sessions, and continuing to create intentional spaces for healing and self-discovery. Whether someone is just beginning their journey or deepening their inner work, I’m here to guide them toward a more aligned and authentic life.”

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, self-awareness, and the willingness to unlearn and relearn.
1. Resilience – Challenges are lessons, not setbacks. Instead of asking, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ shift to ‘What is this teaching me?’ Embrace difficulties as growth opportunities. Has truly been a life saver for me personally. Shifting my mindset.
2. Self-Awareness – True transformation starts within. Practices like journaling, meditation, and mindfulness help you understand yourself on a deeper level. It has helped me to focus on the here and now because that is where the power lies on. Not in the past and not in the future.
3. Willingness to Unlearn and Relearn – Healing and growth require letting go of old conditioning. Stay open to new perspectives through books, mentors, and experiences that challenge your beliefs. I can’t emphasize the importance on this. Limiting beliefs, old habits don’t create new outcomes.

By cultivating these qualities, you create a strong foundation for stepping into your authentic power.”

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always open to collaborating because I truly believe that together, we can make an impact. One life at a time. Just like Dr. Derek Shepherd from Grey’s Anatomy says, ‘It’s a beautiful day to save lives,’ I believe every day is an opportunity to help someone heal, grow, and step into their true self.

I’m looking to collaborate with like-minded individuals, wellness practitioners, community leaders, corporate wellness teams, and organizations that are passionate about holistic healing, empowerment, and breaking generational cycles. Whether through sound healing, Reiki, guided meditation, or community events, I want to create intentional spaces for transformation and self-discovery.

If you feel aligned with this vision, I’d love to connect! You can reach me through my business, Heavenly Earth Crystals, on Instagram social media, www.heavenlyearthcrystals.net or directly via email [email protected].

Let’s work together to bring more healing and light into the world.”
