Ifeoluwa , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Art is my day to day life, as mush as I get involve in my day to day activities I keep my creativity alive. New pieces ideas are birth from the influence of my faith, my environment, the human emotions, culture, identity and life experiences. Through this, I find expression for my lost words and pour them in my art.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m a Nigerian contemporary Artist. A sculptor and Multidimensional
Artist. A Graduate of University of Lagos, where I studied creative art and major in sculpture.
My works are heavily influenced by my faith, human emotions, culture, identity, my environment, and
life experiences. Through my art, I find expression for my lost words and reflect my growth,
belief and self-discovery.
As a sculptor I have exhibited with top Visual Artist like Dotun Popoola and participated in major Exhibitions
like;
– The Exhibit at University of Lagos(2019)
– Total Energies Exhibition (2023)
– Emerging Expression by Creathlab (2024).
– Sculpture Odyssey by Artmiabo 2024
– Elixir by Sculptor Association of Nigeria Scan (2024)
-+234 Art Fair 2025.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Consistency: Over the years, the hunger and effort to keep creating and discovering new ideas even during the inconvenient times as helped me in becoming a better version of myself. My consistency kept me going and has gotten me to where I’m today.
Resilience: Even when faced with significant challenges, setbacks, or stressful situations, I always find a way to preserve myself. I retreat a bit if the need be, but most importantly, I make sure I get the job done.
Dedication: Amidst life’s distractions, I dedicate time and energy to honing my skills and pursuing my artistic goals. I involve in continual desire to learn and improve my skill, seeking out new opportunities, knowledge, and perspectives.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
The most helpful is the Holyspirit! He is my counselor and helper. I really can’t do anything without Him.
