Meet Lauri Ingram

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lauri Ingram a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauri, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

Confidence and self-esteem weren’t things I was just born with—they were cultivated over time through deep inner work, life experiences, and a willingness to step into the unknown. My journey has been one of unfolding, much like walking a labyrinth.

For years, I followed a corporate path in IT, where I found success but often felt a disconnect from my deeper purpose. It wasn’t until I began my spiritual exploration—through interfaith ministry, energy work, and transformational coaching—that I truly started to understand my worth beyond external achievements.

Confidence grew each time I honored my intuition, took courageous steps toward my calling, and allowed myself to be seen—whether officiating a wedding, guiding a client through a breakthrough, or sharing my voice in front of an audience. I also had to release old patterns, stories, and limiting beliefs that told me I wasn’t “enough.”

Practices like NLP, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness have been powerful tools in rewiring my mindset. I’ve also leaned into creativity—whether through Cosmic Smashbooking or intuitive art—as a way to process emotions and anchor in self-trust.

Ultimately, my confidence and self-esteem come from knowing that I am always evolving, that my voice matters, and that I am here to walk alongside others on their awakening journey.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am the founder of Awakening Pathways, where I guide individuals through deep personal and spiritual transformation. As an Interfaith Minister, Spiritual Director and Mentor, and Conscious Ceremonialist, my work focuses on helping people navigate life’s transitions, awaken to their true selves, and step into a more aligned, fulfilling life.

My path wasn’t a straight one—I spent decades in the corporate IT world before following a deeper calling. I now offer spiritual director and mentorship, energy work, and conscious ceremonies for those seeking connection, clarity, and empowerment. Whether I’m officiating a wedding, leading a guided journey, or helping a client break through limiting beliefs, my goal is always the same: to create a sacred, safe space for transformation.

What excites me most about my work is witnessing those ‘aha’ moments—when a client recognizes their own power, releases old stories, or embraces a new path with confidence. I believe healing and growth happen when we honor our inner wisdom, and I integrate a variety of tools, including hypnotherapy and meditation, energy healing, and creative practices, to support this unfolding.

Right now, I’m expanding my offerings in powerful ways:

I’m launching a signature coaching program, Path of Unfolding, designed to help individuals move through personal blocks and step into their highest potential.
I
I lead semi-annual Crystal Dreaming Practitioner Trainings, teaching others to facilitate deep healing experiences.

I speak at seminars and summits, sharing tools for building confidence and self-belief.

I offer transformational workshops and weekend retreats, blending meditation, creative expression, and deep inner work to support self-discovery and healing.

Through Awakening Pathways, I invite people to walk their own labyrinth of self-discovery, trust their intuition, and create meaningful change in their lives.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities and skills have been most impactful in my journey:

Deep Self-Awareness & Intuition – Learning to trust my inner knowing was a game-changer. Early in my journey, I often looked outside myself for answers, but true confidence came when I turned inward. Through mindfulness, meditation, and energy work, I developed the ability to listen to my intuition and recognize what truly aligned with my path.
🔹 Advice: Start with small daily practices, such as journaling, meditation, or simply pausing to ask yourself, “What feels true for me?” Strengthening your intuition is like strengthening a muscle; it grows the more you use it.

Courage to Embrace Change – Leaving behind a 40-year career in corporate IT to step into my soul’s calling wasn’t easy. It required a willingness to evolve, take risks, and trust that I was being guided to something greater. Change is often uncomfortable, but it’s also where transformation happens.
🔹 Advice: If you feel drawn to something new but fear is holding you back, take small, courageous steps. You don’t have to see the whole path…just take the next right step. Surround yourself with supportive people who uplift and encourage your growth.

Commitment to Lifelong Learning & Healing – My journey has been shaped by my willingness to learn, unlearn, and continuously grow. Studying interfaith ministry, spiritual counseling, NLP, hypnotherapy, energy healing, and creative practices has allowed me to support both myself and others in profound ways. But the most important learning has come from doing my own inner work, releasing limiting beliefs, healing old wounds, and deepening my spiritual practice.
🔹 Advice: Invest in your growth. Read, take courses, work with mentors, and most importantly, integrate what you learn into your life. Healing and transformation are not just about gaining knowledge, they’re about embodying what you discover.

For anyone beginning their journey, know this: You are not behind, and you are not alone. Trust your path, stay open to growth, and remember that every challenge is an invitation to step into a more empowered version of yourself.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone who is on the edge of transformation, someone who feels a deep stirring within, a call to something more, but may not yet have the clarity or confidence to step fully into it. They are seekers, open to exploring the spiritual and energetic aspects of life, even if they’re not sure where to begin. This was me about 15 years ago, when I embarked on my own spiritual awakening.

Many of my clients are professionals who have spent years achieving external success but now feel disconnected from their true selves. They might be navigating a major life transitionsuch as a career shift, life transition, or personal evolution, and they’re ready to break through old patterns that keep them feeling stuck. They are curious, willing to do the inner work, and open to new perspectives, whether through spiritual director and mentorship, energy work, or creative practices.

When it comes to ceremonies, my ideal clients seek a ceremony that is meaningful, intentional, and deeply personal for whatever life transition is upon them, whether it be marriage, uncoupling, baby welcoming, life celebration or other change in life circumstance.

Ultimately, my ideal client is someone who is ready to step into their power, trust their intuition, and embrace a new way of being—even if they don’t quite know how yet. My role is to walk alongside them, holding space for their unfolding.
