I’ve always had a passion for things to keep my mind at ease and over the last year, I’ve begun to take my diamond art hobby serious and really put my heart into it. I also enjoy a massage, walks in nature, quality time with family, taking baths, and the occasional cocktail hour. Most importantly, though, I take care of myself by talking to my therapist regularly.

By taking care of myself, it helps me to maintain my focus, dedication, and meditate. I am more efficient in my tasks not only at home, but also at work. Read More>>

The best thing that I have done for self-care is prioritize my spiritual and mental health. I have maintained a spiritual relationship, and I will continue to be a work in progress, this journey has been incredibly transformative. Launching FathomLife Therapeutic, LLC during the 2020 pandemic, combined with recovering from a major surgery in 2022, brought some things to the surface. So, I decided to explore therapy, which led me to discover mindfulness practices, and strengthen my spiritual journey. Read More>>

I’ve been doing a lot for self care; Removing people from my life, changing what I listen to, screening what I consume, resting, and overall putting myself in places where I can be happy. Recently that meant getting a full time job. It’s helped removed so much stress and putting me in a great position to make better music. I’ve been buying a bunch of super healthy foods to keep me right and doing yoga a few times each week. I find that doing things this way I actually have much more energy and can accomplish a lot more in day. Read More>>

Self-care for me is spending time doing what I love! This includes playing video games, jamming out at the gym, taking hot baths, creative writing, catching up on my fave shows, and reading before bedtime. Beauty truly does come from within. If we don’t take care of our physical and mental health, we’ll never be able to look our best. Read More>>

Gabrielli LaChiara:

For a long time, I thought I was doing self-care—I exercised, meditated, ate well—but none of it was actually helping me cope with the level of stress, trauma, and overwhelm I was living in. I was navigating toxic relationships, unrelenting pressure, and later, a cancer diagnosis. The typical advice—bubble baths, deep breathing, journaling—didn’t even come close to addressing what I needed. It wasn’t that those things were useless, but they were surface-level, and I was drowning underneath it all. Read More>>

The most valuable self-care practice that is non-negotiable for me is my two-hour daily morning routine, which includes yoga, meditation, journaling on gratitude, and intuitive writing/channelling. I carve out this dedicated time for myself when I wake up to set the right tone for the day, putting myself in a responsive mode rather than a reactive one. I do not interact with anyone or check my phone until my morning routine is complete. No matter how busy I am, this is always my top priority. Read More>>

Making art is self-care. I avoided making art for many years for many reasons – fear of imperfection, busyness, exhaustion. I can get wrapped up in thinking about art without actually making any. I spent years in a state of art-paralysis, which I can still easily slip back if I’m not mindful about it. Yet when I show up and make the art, particularly with a scheduled daily practice, I feel more fulfilled and refreshed than ever. Read More>>

For me, self-care is essential to staying grounded and effective in everything I do. I make time for activities that nourish my mind and body, like journaling, exercising, and setting boundaries to protect my energy. Prioritizing self-care allows me to show up fully for MAQ Mentoring, bringing patience, empathy, and a clear mind to support the girls I work with. Taking care of myself strengthens my ability to lead, inspire, and pour into others without feeling depleted, creating a ripple effect of positivity and balance throughout my work and personal life. KM: Burnout is real! Sisterfriend is a sweet love letter to our friendship, as Lisa and I both have full time jobs, so everything we do for it is outside of our day to day workload. We communicate honestly a lot about what we can take on and make sure that when we are together, business is usually over sharing a meal together or bookended by quality time. I think it makes us more focused in meetings to care for each other in the process! Read More>>

As a serial entrepreneur, self-care is a non-negotiable part of my daily routine—it is the foundation that allows me to perform at my highest level, both mentally and physically. My approach to self-care is deeply intentional, so I take a very calculated approach to my health and well-being.

I follow a plant-based lifestyle and eat once a day, which helps me stay disciplined and energized without feeling sluggish. On top of that, I do a 72-hour fast once a month and a 48-hour fast every week, which gives my body a chance to reset and function at its highest level. I also juice daily, drinking fresh fruits and vegetables to make sure I’m getting the nutrients my body needs. Following up with essential vitamins and minerals such as sea moss, moringa, soursop, black seed oil, and other essential vitamins and minerals to keep my immune system strong and my energy levels up.
