Lance, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

I believe my optimism come first from God and follow up by my mother. I believe it to be an instinctive characteristic I was born with.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hello, my name is Lance Forrest, from camden New Jersey. I knew from an early age I was different in alot of ways but had no idea what that difference meant and how it would bring me to be the man I am today. I have always love the arts since a kid but did not have the outlet or the right support to help me cultivate it. So my early years was focus on my education and following the footsteps of my older brother and sister. Taking the athletic route like my older brother and became a track athelete all through out high school and the first couple of years while in the Air Force. Once I graduated from high school I went straight into the military (Air Force) and got married to my high school sweet heart at an early age like my older sister did, which was at the age of 19. While in the service i discovered my love of fitness and the arts. I completed my 4 1/2 yrs of service and upon my honorable discharge I knew that my next journey in life should be driven by my passion and dreams. I first started my career after the service as performer, fitness model and fitness coach. During my early years I danced in concerts and behind different artist. I did many fitness modeling gigs, fitnes videos, campaigns and advertisements. By me being an Entrepreneur by nature it was easy to do multiple projects and create success. I feel the early days built me up to believe that no matter what I thrive to do I could create success as long as I stayed consistant, persistant, patient and focused. Which brings me to what drives me today. That is my Production company Forever Standing Productions and Non-Profit Organization Forever Standing Art Foundation. I bring original ,creative and thought provoking contents to the world. From short film about how alcoholism deteriorates families, a feature film tackling the Epidemic of HIV, a Musical about the decision of choosing between following your dreams or love. Then tackling the on going struggles with social media and the internet and the Trolling that goes on. The emotional and physical impact it has in our society. On the other end of the spectrum I do Real Estate as a Realtor which I have been doing almost 9yrs.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Willing to learn Nature

The advice I give to people in their early journey is to have a plan and have a second plan. Know that as long as you are putting the work in, results are on the way.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I have been working very hard to get my Production Company and Non-Profit Organization to a point where I I can create an impactful in the film industry. I am looking for potential project partnerships , crew, investors and sponsorship to help me bring all my great ideas to life. I am seeking help to establish my 501c3.
