We were lucky to catch up with Kimberly Black recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kimberly, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose by reflecting on my experiences. I discovered the importance of cultivating meaningful relationships, expressing gratitude, and being present in the moment.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three important qualities that were most impactful in my journey are integrity, honesty, and courage. Integrity ensures you are trustworthy. An honest person will speak the truth. Having courage allows you to think outside the box. My advice is to stay grounded and true to yourself.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss. The most impactful nugget of wisdom is empathy transcends simply understanding the other party’s emotions. It includes recognizing their world view, their fears, and their aspirations.
