My parents always emphasized the importance of hard work and taking pride in everything I do, so that really shaped my work ethic from a young age.

Launched in January 2023, Chew! Chew! All On Board! blossomed from a lifelong passion for cooking and a talent for crafting charcuterie boards for personal gatherings. The overwhelming positive feedback from friends and family, coupled with my husband’s encouragement, sparked the idea for a business. From there, we developed a brand identity, including a logo, business cards, and a vibrant social media presence. Our first real test came with the 2023 Super Bowl, which ignited a surge of orders and revealed the true potential of our venture. Today, I specialize in custom charcuterie boards and platters for diverse occasions, from intimate get-togethers to large-scale events like weddings, offering full catering services. My commitment to sourcing the freshest, highest-quality ingredients ensures a visually stunning and unforgettable culinary experience.

To ensure a constantly evolving and delightful experience, I continually refresh my menu with seasonal ingredients. We’re also excited to launch our mobile charcuterie cart later this year, providing a unique and convenient serving option for your events. My passion for charcuterie is rooted in sharing that love with others. I’m always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and help you design the perfect charcuterie spread.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

To create truly outstanding charcuterie boards, focus on three key areas: captivating visual presentation, expertly balanced flavor pairings, and the use of top-tier ingredients. Customers are immediately drawn to a beautifully arranged board, which directly influences their desire to purchase. A thoughtful combination of flavors and textures ensures a delightful and memorable experience. And, of course, the quality of your ingredients is the foundation for exceptional taste and customer satisfaction.

As for advice, your charcuterie style will evolve through experimentation. Test different layouts, color palettes, and board types. Always ensure your aesthetic reinforces your brand and resonates with your target audience. Embrace a mindset of continuous learning, exploring new pairings and expanding your knowledge of ingredient flavor profiles.
