Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Savon Washington. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Savon, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I keep my creativity alive by simply living life’ experiencing new things observing things, places, objects, even people. At the end of the day it always teaches me a new lesson’ and I apply what I learned rather it’s good or
bad into my daily life “ I Adapt with any situation I’m in. So when it comes to me being a artist and having certain topics and conversations for songs I’m just talking about my daily life and what I seen, what I experienced, what I felt, or what I learned from being in certain situations, that’s why when it come to certain songs certain people can relate and it hit them emotionally, or spiritually it’s becomes they might have seen ..or felt ..or experienced the same thing an as a artist i just put in a musical format that sounds catchy or used a musical tone that attracts the listener.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a Music Artist from Cleveland, Ohio, but I’m not just a Music Artist .I am a creator and actor. I model here an there for clothing brands. I’m just someone who enjoys standing out and being different in motivating others. Recently, I’ve been trying to model a little more, but I also have been working on new music and trying my best to learn how the business industry works and how it goes to better my music career. Music is my passion, but I don’t let it cap me off from other things. I’m down to do anything that betters me as a person and as a man in my career.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Some of the most impactful things to me that I feel I’ve learned over the years is annoyed that it’s OK to fail. Failure is part of the process of growing, and I feel like if you don’t fail, you cannot grow in any aspect. I’ve also learned when to observe, when to be quiet and when to act. I feel like a lot of people at my age and just in general lack that knowledge and sometimes make very stupid choices based off something they may have heard or what somebody might’ve said without even thinking and processing how to move and think and handle the situation correctly. and another big one for me is it’s knowing that it’s OK to ask for help and knowledge. A lot of people suffer due to their pride or ignorance and thinking that they can just do it all their own when in reality, nobody gets to the point they’re at especially the wealthy and highly educated without help. So those who know me know that I preach the importance of those things. And that nobody is perfect. It’s OK to make mistakes where human. It’s OK to stand up and be different. And that it’s OK to be vulnerable in a world where being vulnerable is a sign of weakness. I disagree. It’s a way of life.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes I wish to work with those who can educate me spiritually and financially. Those who can improve my life and not only give me the knowledge to improve others life I’m grown now “ so I’m just looking forward to working with anybody that sees value and me and what I bring spiritually physically and emotionally and even with my talent, I can bring a lot to a table with the right guidance and mentors. I just wanna learn how to do things correctly so I can further my life peacefully without wasting my time. Education is power, and with power comes responsibility and with that comes greatness and I’m all aboard.
