Meet Kameron Bolton

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kameron Bolton. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kameron , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

My creativity reminds me of a river.. it’s constantly flowing, shifting, and evolving. At times, I could be rushing with inspiration and ideas, and then there are times when it slows to a quiet trickle. I’ve learned that keeping creativity alive isn’t about forcing it or beating myself down when I feel like ideas aren’t flowing as they should.. It’s about accepting the different seasons I may go through and staying open to the divine energy that flows through me.

I’ve noticed that personally, my creativity thrives in stillness. In a world that is constantly demanding movement, I have my most inspiring moments when I step back. This could be through meditation, going to the park, driving around town listening to music, or just taking time to feel my emotions completely. When I quiet my mind, ideas tend to come naturally instead of forcefully.

Another thing that fuels my creativity and vision is immersion. I try to surround myself with art, music, and conversations that allows me to see beyond the surface. Surrounding myself with other creators reminds me that the creative process isn’t just about making something, but more about meaning, connection, and truth.

Most importantly, I’ve been working on creating without expectation. Perfectionism had me in a chokehold and there were many ideas I had that we’re never shared because I felt like everything I put out there needed to be polished before it was published. I am currently working on embracing the rawness and imperfections within my creative process and myself. Whether I am filming a video, writing some poetry, capturing a moment through photography, working on upcoming projects, or any other creative venture, I let it be what it needs to be.

As long as I keep listening, feeling, and allowing myself to be fully present during the process, the river never runs dry.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

At my core, I’m a creative, but more than that, I’m a student of life. Right now, I’m focused on growing as a content creator and media artist, using my platform to explore self-improvement, spirituality, and overall well-being. My creativity isn’t just about making something visually appealing.. it’s about meaning, depth, and connection. whether through videography, photography, or storytelling, I want my work to reflect truth and inspire others to tap into their own.

Alongside my creative growth, I’ve been committed to learning more about mental, physical, and spiritual health. these aspects of life are deeply connected, and understanding them not only helps me evolve but also allows me to pour more intentional energy into my creations. I want my creations to be a place where people feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that growth is a journey, not a destination

As I move forward, I’m gonna continue investing in my craft. Learning more about camera work, expand my storytelling skills, creating from a place of authenticity, and committing to my growth in all areas. I have also been working on launching a podcast very soon, a space for open conversations, creativity, personal stories, and well-being. Everything I do is rooted in purpose, and I’m excited to witness the expansion.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

– Self-Awareness
Getting to know myself, what inspires me, what holds me back, and what I truly want to express has been vital for me in my journey. For anyone starting out, take time to reflect, be honest with yourself, and create from your heart. When your work is true to you, it will always have meaning.

– Storytelling
Good art makes people feel something! Whether through video, photography, music, brushstrokes, or words, storytelling is what makes creativity powerful. Really figure out what it is that moves you, practice releasing whatever you feel through your work, and focus on meaning… not just how it looks. The opposite of depression is expression.

– Discipline & Learning
Creativity is a gift, but discipline is what makes it grow. I’ve learned that being open to learning is just as important as talent. If you’re starting out, don’t wait to feel “ready.” Experiment, study, and create.. growth comes from the process itself. It can feel dark in the beginning but a seed has to be buried in the dirt before it can see the light at the surface. Growth starts in the unseen, and the darkness isn’t the end… it’s just the beginning.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

– “Becoming Supernatural” by Joe Dispenza

“Becoming Supernatural” has helped me open my eyes to the power of the mind. It opened my eyes to how much our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs shape our experiences. The idea of rewiring our brain and stepping into our highest potential really resonated with me.

– “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle

“The Power of Now” was one of my first reads and really got me out of my creative slump. It helped me understand the importance of presence. Showed me how peace and creativity flow when you simply just be.

“The Warrior of the Light” by Paulo Coelho

– “The Warrior of Light” has shown me how life is a journey of growth and challenges, but through it all, we must keep our spirit strong. It taught me how to transmute turmoil into triumph, helping me stay true to my path.

Each of these books are beginner-friendly and reinforces important lessons for me. They remind me to stay grounded, stay open, and keep pushing toward my fullest potential
