Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Maria Hosgor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Maria with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I think I get it from my family . My mom and Dad .
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a floral designer . I own a 700 sqft floral stuido in Chatsworth , CA. We do crate art , but floral art . We do weddings private events and corporate events .
Doing florals has been the best thing of my life , They speak to you , they keep you grounded , they mak you happy and best of all they make everyone happy . And that’s what keeps going.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I never knew that I would start a floral business . I never knew that I would fall in love with flowers and that it would be my passion . It started with a life traumatic experience . Nothing crazy ! I broke up with the person that I thought I was deeply in love with , that we would grow old together have a family and be the best couple in the world .
I was depressed . I went to therapy and that didn’t work … I tried many things , sound healing , tunning , books , seminars … these were help full tools . I got to learn a lot about myself . If i hadn’t gone through what I went through , I would have never learned to love flowers or myself . I guess everything does happen for a good reason .
If you have vision go after it . Doesn’t matter how far or close your vision could be , but go after it . That vision came to you for a reason . It’s also never too late to get to your dream /vision . With faith (not in a religious way ) and hope , that’s simply enough to get you what you want The rest will fall into place . Just believe..
