Meet Alejandra Avalos Carranza

We were lucky to catch up with Alejandra Avalos Carranza recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alejandra , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

That’s an interesting question! Thank you for having me. My purpose was an accidental “aha” moment. For some people, purpose is connected to their passions, relationships or the impact they want to make in the world. For me personally, it was growth. I wanted to expand my skills, sharpen what I already knew and it really helped me find my gifts. It’s not always something that came clear to me, at first. I had to really dig deep and start over again and again until it felt right.
But now, I understand my purpose is to serve others by elevating their own skills, by leading by example.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

That’s a great place to begin! As a self made entrepreneur, I am very focused on growing my digital company globally. We have been working alongside many amazing partnerships, and we will continue to grow. I enjoy learning new skills in business such as, investments, sales, marketing and lead generation. I also host a podcast on Spotify where I interview elite entrepreneurs in business and recently got recognized by The Wharton Business UPENN Ivy League. It was such a great feeling to have one of the best business schools in the world, e-mail me and congratulate me! We also showcase entrepreneurs globally in media outlets and other podcasts. Visit outer websites ACMG digital.com or follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram. I enjoy where I’ve been headed with my team.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The main skills of knowledge for me were sales, marketing and business negotiations. Without these fundamental tools and skills, it’s difficult to start any business or company.

The advise I give young entrepreneurs is learn as much as you can, read and also learn by trial and error. Keep trying and failing until you get it right. Hang out with people who are above you, stay away from negative people who don’t add to your success and stay humble by reminding yourself this is all a journey.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

The book that helped me become better and think like an entrepreneur was rich dad poor dad. That book has a lot of great things to dismantle the programming we’ve learned in different ways. If you want to be financially smart, learn the rules of money and wealth. Robert Kiyosaki paved the way for his readers to understand the mentality between middle class and the rich.
