Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have SBee with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I get my work ethic from my self iam a hard working musician I just love with what I do I love music .
And music is my evrything this my life I put evrything into music
And my work ethic come from me doing a lot of things by my self
Dealing with trust issues it’s hard for me to trust someone to do my job for me
Also what’s keep me going is my passion for it
the time I spent in jail trying to find my self also the real truth is I keep my self going even when iam not motivated by anyone I just keep going because that’s what I’m going to do for the rest of my life also I love the support of my fans my fans also keep me working
Also most my music I freestyle them after using the ganja I love meditation I get motivated by the ganja also Hennessey
I be in my own world also can’t forget its a business and its a process especially when money involve also money coming in so
I be making music evryday even if I’m not planning on releasing music I’m always making music
Iam always in the studio producing beats freestyling making music to favorite beats I produce or from my producer traptune305beat
And from the most part I grew up in the trenches I’m from north miami there’s a lot of artist I know that’s way bigger artist then me and from being in a dangerous environment that motivate me to make music to clear my mind from stuff I’m going through or stuff I’m doing in my evryday life so the music help me turn to Basquiat and paint the picture vividly
Iam a role model and a leader iam a business man entrepreneur with my work ethic I know I’ll be further by 2024 2025
Because I stay motivated
I stay motivated because of hatred
I stay motivated because of negativity
I stay motivated because of friends I lost in the street doing dark time
I stay motivated because of jail time I spent and time I spent and waisted being on house arrest
I stay motivated because I want to become a bigger artist and a bigger role model to my community I was raised in and the world
I stay motivated to better my self to overcome my environment and become a better person my work ethic is crazy because I hustle and grind evryday
The music is very special and I can’t stop I have to keep going because I reach a certain level when I step out people knows who iam and motivation like a key to success my fans my environment bad habits and living a ghetto lifestyle motivate me to focus on what I’m doing because because it’s not normal
Look I done witness my friend shot in front of me police rated my grandmother house also my mother’s house for drugs and warrant trying to pay bills and better my self all these situations keeps me going I even have lawsuits against me but these cases closed now but the music I put my entire life in it
And my music is very unique and I appreciate other artist in the industry supporting me also keep my punchlines and flows going its all love all these things just keep me going also my girlfriend Jessica she keep me going never give up on me her motivation keep me going
I been kick out my mother’s house when I was 16 bout to turn 17 its been a dark road support from friends and my mentor Kevin Joseph aka kg keep me going all the time never give up on me even when I was low on funds
But my work ethic is from my past its dark being in the ghetto where most my friends in the street some of our mother are drugs addicts so we have to get evrything on our own at a young age also from losing many friends that was close growing without a father my mother not around all the time
I drop out of hiqhschool and sleep in the studio the music is very special
And my work ethic came from learning from my mistakes and works hard for my self and my son because time is priceless
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I love making music iam a business man over the years I been profits of music independently
I have my own record label I signed a 4 years deal I love making music because I have a opportunity to stay off the corner and opportunity to not stay at Mc donald wendys burger king to flip burgers all day or all my life
Music gives me opportunity to stay out of jail or the street and building my brand and investing on other businesses
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The knowledge I gain is not everyone is your friend not everyone is your family even if we blood related
Not everyone you laugh and jokes with or sleep with wake up eat go to sleep or go party will support you in life
If you don’t take the step to do it your self
And other knowledge I gain is never afraid to be alone also don’t make to much enemies because music is a competition
And I learn this is a business there’s no such things as friends in the music industry
