Meet Kristin Hendricks

We recently connected with Kristin Hendricks and have shared our conversation below.

Kristin, thank you so much for making time for us today. We’re excited to discuss a handful of topics with you, but perhaps the most important one is around decision making. The ability to make decisions is a key requirement for anyone who wants to make a difference and so we’d love to hear about how you developed your decision-making skills.

Hello. I could answer many of the questions listed with the same answer … by connecting with the voice of my soul and following my own inner guidance. This has been my greatest passion for most of my adult life. A passion to listen from within. To understand and develop a relationship with my soul. To live my life from this sacred space and create what I call … living a soul~inspired life. Living from this perspective helps us to broaden our perspective of our life events and seek out the lessons and blessings in opportunities often disguised as hardships, challenges, pain, and trauma. It has enabled me to navigate my own personal trials such as delivering a full-term stillborn baby, divorce, breast cancer and so much more … helping me stay grounded in the every day bumps as well as the joys life brings.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I have a diverse background in terms of work and career. I have allowed myself to do many different things that have best served the seasons of my life. I worked full-time after college in the hospitality industry but chose to stay home when I had my first child. I worked full-time in office and finance positions when I left my marriage and became a single mom – work that provided income and benefits needed. I became certified as a Natural Health Counselor after my experience with breast cancer and created a business which supported others in connecting the body, mind, and soul. In recent years I became caretakers for my parents during my mothers illness which lead to her death in 2023. Since I have become a home-based baker. My greatest passion remains having conversations about the soul and inspiring others to step in the magic of the inner-becoming. I offer this voice organically through my life connections and my presence on social media. I intend to step deeper into this role as it is so needed during this time of great chaos and change. I refer to my content as … “The Soul of the Great Awakening”. We are shifting from leaving behind a time in which humanity has relied on living by the voices of outer authorities to living my the voice of our own inner authority.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

– Following your intuition. The head can think … but the heart can think AND feel, making it a far more accurate tool for decision making. Intuition is like a muscle. The more you use it the stronger it grows.

– Trust. Trust in yourself and trust that the universe …. the God Source … always has your back. Heart based choices will lead you to, and through, the experiences you came here to have.

– The body. Your body is your greatest vehicle for housing your soul as well as what the soul uses to get your attention. It provides so much information! And the sensations, symptoms, and nuances we feel always include an energetic message. Whether you are experiencing a sore back or a chronic illness … there is a soul level connection of something deeper that is asking to be healed.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

Allowing for stillness will be your greatest asset to help you maneuver through any aspect of your life. In a world of constant information and busyness, we can not hear our own inner guidance amongst the chatter of the world. There are many ways to seek stillness. It does not need to be a formal and intense meditation practice in which you may sit in quiet for a great length of time. Although this can indeed be a powerful tool, it is not always easy to achieve. Some of my favorite ways to still my mind are by simply going for a walk or shutting off the noise during routine tasks such as doing the dishes.
