Meet Katherine Menasche

We recently connected with Katherine Menasche and have shared our conversation below.

Katherine, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
My generosity comes from knowing that other people might not have what I have. And when you pay it forward it feels good and good things come to you when you are generous.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My name is Katherine Menasche and I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. I graduated from CIA in 2011. That’s where my journey began. I started working in Michelin star restaurants were my passion had just begun. plating desserts and the challenge of your first job in a restaurant I loved the thrill. today I am a business owner. and once de pandemic hit I was furloughed from my job. once they were ready to bring us back they said you can come back at 20% less pay. And that’s when I realized Im not going back to a job, Im going to work for myself. I make Alfajores for the most part a product that has become a hit. and we have become Floridas best Alfajores company.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
the skills and qualities most important in my journey were: Dedication, Working hard, and always being on time. something that is very important to me and my growth is that: it doesn’t matter if were you work is not your own business work as hard as if it was. Feel a sense of ownership because you can truly make a difference. We didn’t come to this world to stay stagnant

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
there are two people in my life that help me push through the challenges. They are my dad and my older sister. because they are here for my whole process. The good times, the bad, the mental struggles. They make me want to be better everyday.
