Meet Young Spit

We were lucky to catch up with Young Spit recently and have shared our conversation below.

Young , we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
Grown-up in Africa we didn’t have much but we learned to appreciate and share the little we had.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Young Spit is a singer and songwriter originally from Burundi a landlocked country in east central Africa, bordering Rwanda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Young Spit’s Sound is a mixture of Afro-fusion ,World Music and Hip Hop.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Honestly Humble
Ambitious

Honesty always say what you mean and mean what you say, humble never forget where you came from for a clear view of where you’re going, ambitious always stay hungry and never give up.
