Meet Alyssa Lioce

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alyssa Lioce. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Alyssa with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

In my life I have been fortunate enough to have great role models, my father and my grandfathers. They gave me my work ethic and taught me that hard work really does pay off. My grandfathers migrated to the United States with nothing and built a life for themselves and their families. My papa successfully created a restaurant empire while my nonno taught himself all contracting functions and established a career. My dad worked three jobs to support his wife and three children.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Driven by my deep rooted love for family and a passion for fashion, ‘twentyone twelve, for the angels’ was created. The name holds the essence of an unbreakable family bond.
My sister and I were both born on the 21st day of our respective months and my brother on the 12th. Years later our cherished baby cousin, who was like a sister to us, coincidentally was also born on the 21st. Tragically, at only the age of two, Juliet Francine passed away.
This emotional connection birthed a brand blending love, loss, and style. ‘twentyone twelve’ weaves threads of familial unity and personal resilience into each design, echoing the enduring spirit that transcends earthly boundaries. ‘twentyone twelve’ is for Juliet and all the angels in the sky. We are often at pop-up events and frequently offer flash sales on our website Driven by my deep rooted love for family and a passion for fashion, ‘twentyone twelve, for the angels’ was created. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most important factors that have impacted my journey the most would be overcoming tragedy, remaining determined, and staying true to my roots. The best advice I can give someone is to find your purpose, work hard, and never give up!

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

The most impactful thing my parents have done for me has been supporting me in every aspect. From showing up to every single soccer game and dance competition to attending pop-ups and repping my brand they have always been my biggest fans.
