Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Courtney Laine Cole. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Courtney Laine , you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
I have always had an innate generosity. As a very small child I loved to give and share and especially to receive the gratification that comes along with that. I think I do well with My gifts because it comes very natural to me firstly to create results but also it fills me up with bliss to know that I have made someone happy or feel better about themselves in someway.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I combine medical skin care and techniques with natural, results oriented products and treatments. I absolutely want results first but also must have each appointment feel like an experience! I am an expert in all areas of skin care with a strong background in medical. I have a private label skincare line as well as products that I really believe in from other brands. I also do energy balancing for all of my facials.
I am an artist and poet and have a passion for permanent make up. During Covid I started painting and that quickly became an expression for me. Now I have an art studio within my workspace and also take commissioned painting requests.
I have created a clothing line with my art and have a little boutique with very unique pieces. I also have some beautiful crystal jewelry and other gift items.
Anyone who walks into my studio becomes very calm saying that it is a sanctuary…… and that makes me feel happy as that is the vibe that I tried to create.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I started my business during Covid and it was definitely not easy. However, my passion and love of what I do was so strong that I never once felt any tension. I would say that through persistence, love of what I do and dedication it has allowed me to grow and become successful. Anyone with a passion for what they do and strong will can achieve exactly what they desire!
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I need really incredible and beautiful people here in the Tampa Bay area. I seem to bond with people and have created many partnerships or connections to collaborate. I feel very strongly about building up other business owners and helping each other achieve. I do not believe in negative competition because that only limits a person.
