Meet Nicole Booker

We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Booker recently and have shared our conversation below.

Nicole, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

“I keep my creativity alive by embracing nostalgia, drawing inspiration from nature, and pushing the boundaries of conventional design. I explore unique fragrance combinations, crafting scents that tell a story rather than follow trends. Each product is created with heart, shaped by cultural influences rather than market demand, ensuring authenticity in every piece. My approach is intentional—I design with love, not for mass production, but to offer something truly special and meaningful.”

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My niece Anaya had eczema that affected her physically and mentally as a child. I wanted to help her with natural products instead of rough chemicals that have been prescribed by her doctor, which may soothe her for a moment but causes other issues and is more expensive. She was insecure about the issue, especially being only 10 years old. I started researching not just for her but for her and myself and my family. I always struggled with acne, and it did not matter what age or what I used. I started looking at essential oils, videos from YouTube, and books. Yes, books, I am old school.

So, my next step was to find out how to control eczema and add moisture to the body care routine. The soaps manufactured have harmful ingredients that dry out the skin in bathing, showers, and lotions that we apply after cleaning our bodies. What if we add moisture to all the things, we use prior to adding the last lotion to our bodies? From there I started having an epiphany and realized what products needed, more moisture. I began to make my own body care and added more moisture and natural products in the soap, body wash, bubble baths, bath salts, and lotions, plus the lip gloss! Endless Care!

“The more I create and refine my skills, the more energized I feel—it’s like unlocking a superpower. Just like Super Mario powering up, I leap and push forward, knocking away doubts and negativity with each level I conquer. Every piece of positive feedback is a token fueling my drive, and heartfelt reviews remind me why I do this. But the real reward? Knowing that my homemade recipes are helping people with eczema and other skin conditions heal—my creativity isn’t just about art, it’s about wellness and connection.”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back on my journey, three qualities and skills have shaped me and my success.

First, humility—the ability to take hard, genuine truths, whether good or bad, and turn them into positive outcomes. Learning to embrace honest feedback has helped me grow and navigate challenges with resilience.

Second, the power of mistakes. Every misstep is a learning curve, and sometimes, what seems like a failure is actually a blessing in disguise. One person’s struggle may become another’s masterpiece, proving that refinement comes from perseverance.

Third, being your own biggest fan! You deserve to FATALITY your success against life’s toughest obstacles. There may be moments when stress makes you feel like Sindel in Mortal Kombat—screaming your head off. But don’t sweat the small stuff. Channel your inner Liu Kang and kick that negativity out of your way, because every new day is a clean slate, another chance to start again.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

My biggest area of growth has been finding my inner voice—learning not to stress or overwork myself and recognizing that self-care is a priority. Passion is the fuel that drives my goals in business and life, and I refuse to let it fade.

We all need that inner Pac-Man “power-pellet”—something that keeps us energized rather than drained by life’s challenges, creative blocks, or burnout. The ability to pause, rest, and recharge is essential. Without it, we risk losing the fire that drives us. Taking time to renew allows me to show up as my best self and give my all to my journey.
