Meet DJ CHEF MO

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful DJ CHEF MO. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with DJ CHEF below.

Hi DJ CHEF , thank you for joining us today and sharing your experiences and acquired wisdom with us. Burnout is a huge topic these days and so we’d love to kick things off by discussing your thoughts on overcoming or avoiding burnout

Burnout tries to cook us all so I decided to flip the heat. I refused to pour from an empty pot and started letting God refill me always. I learned the Sabbath wasn’t just suggestive it was a lifestyle. I rest like it’s warfare now, because peace is my protest. If it doesn’t feed the most high spirit, it doesn’t get a plate.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m DJ CHEF MO where faith meets fire. I built a movement that fuses food, music, and the Gospel into a life-changing experience. Whether I’m dropping a track, running a financial business, managing health services, or speaking the Word, it’s all Kingdom work. What makes it special? I use everyday moments, sports, cooking, coaching, and film creation to bring heaven to the streets. Right now, I’m launching new music, expanding my care business, and teaching people how to become their own bank. I’m proof that ministry ain’t just a pulpit or a platform it’s truly New Life ©️

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three things changed everything for me. First, discipline. I treated every season like game day. Second, storytelling. Whether I’m on a mic, behind a menu, or at a desk, I’ve been blessed with speaking real to people, not just their ears. Third, emotional intelligence. Reading the room, leading with love, and never folding under pressure. If you’re just starting out, master those three. Be consistent, be real, and build something that speaks above just verbally.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The Bible once deeply studied is the book that transformed my mindset for good. Romans 12:2 taught me to stop thinking like the world and let God rewire my mind so I could move different. That verse isn’t just scripture, it’s a new life shift. Proverbs gave me the sliders update & codes….Solomon used to walk in wisdom, stay sharp, and build generational wealth. Isaiah 40:31? That one taught me patience builds power. If I wait on God, I don’t just survive I fly & Philippians 4:13 is the anthem. I don’t need luck, I’ve got Christ. I can handle anything because I roll with Him.
