Meet Elisa Janson

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elisa Janson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Elisa, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

My professional purpose has evolved significantly over time. I began my career deeply rooted in the music industry and education space, where I developed my foundation. The turning point came after completing my MBA, when I realized my passion extended beyond music—I was truly driven by using my skills to help others achieve their goals.
This realization sparked my entrepreneurial journey. I launched various ventures including professional learning services, e-commerce, and digital courses. With each new business, I followed my convictions and accumulated valuable insights that I could share with clients and students.
My greatest strength has always been translating complexity into clarity—taking intricate concepts and making them accessible for teaching and learning. This skill became especially valuable during my deep dive into AI over the past 18 months. Now, I’ve repositioned my consultancy to focus on AI training and transformation, once again applying my expertise to help others navigate emerging technologies and opportunities.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a business strategist and AI prompt engineering expert who helps organizations transform their operations through effective AI implementation. My work sits at the crucial intersection of business strategy and practical AI application – translating technological possibilities into tangible business outcomes.
What makes my approach unique is the C.A.L.M. AI Navigator framework I’ve developed, which provides a comprehensive system for effective AI use at every organizational level. This framework helps businesses move beyond random AI experimentation to strategic integration that delivers measurable results.
The most exciting aspect of my work is empowering professionals to become self-sufficient with AI tools. My expertise in prompt training enables clients to craft precise, effective instructions that yield consistently valuable outputs from AI systems. I’ve found that mastering prompt engineering is the critical skill that transforms AI from an interesting novelty to a powerful business asset.
My consultancy focuses on two complementary areas: high-level business strategy that identifies where AI can create the most value, and hands-on prompt engineering training that ensures teams can execute that strategy independently. This dual approach ensures that organizations don’t just understand AI conceptually, but can implement it practically.
I’m particularly excited about expanding access to my C.A.L.M. AI Navigator™️ framework through upcoming workshops designed for different business functions – from marketing and operations to product development and customer service. These specialized sessions help teams apply AI strategically to their specific challenges rather than using generic approaches that often fall short.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The top three skills or qualities I can attribute my success to are Adaptability and Continuous Learning, Translational Thinking, and Strategic Vision Paired with Execution.

1. Adaptability and Continuous Learning
My willingness to pivot from music to entrepreneurship to AI consultancy wasn’t accidental – it stemmed from embracing change and constantly expanding my knowledge base. I’ve always dedicated time to learning emerging tools and methodologies, which positioned me ahead of industry shifts rather than reacting to them. For those early in their journey, I recommend cultivating a learning mindset that extends beyond formal education. Set aside regular time for exploration outside your comfort zone, whether through online courses, industry publications, or hands-on experimentation with new technologies.

2. Translational Thinking
My ability to take complex concepts and translate them into accessible, practical applications has been my superpower. This skill enabled me to develop frameworks like the C.A.L.M. AI Navigator™️ that bridge technical capabilities with business needs. For developing this skill, I suggest practicing explaining complicated ideas to different audiences – try describing your work to a technical expert, then to someone with no background in your field. This exercise forces you to identify core principles and communicate them clearly without relying on jargon.
3. Strategic Vision Paired with Execution

Success requires both big-picture thinking and the ability to implement effectively. I’ve found that maintaining clear sight of long-term objectives while breaking them into actionable steps creates sustainable progress. My advice is to develop the discipline of regularly toggling between strategic planning and tactical execution. Start by documenting your vision, then create systems to track your progress on smaller milestones. This balance prevents getting lost in details while ensuring your daily work advances meaningful goals.

The most powerful approach to developing these qualities is finding opportunities to apply them in real-world scenarios. Seek projects slightly beyond your current capabilities, collaborate with people whose strengths differ from yours, and actively request feedback on both your ideas and your execution. Growth happens at the edge of discomfort, not within the boundaries of what you already know how to do well.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m actively looking to connect with several types of collaborators who share my vision for thoughtful, strategic AI implementation:

First, I’m seeking business leaders and executives who recognize the transformative potential of AI but are unsure where to begin. If you’re facing the challenge of moving beyond AI experimentation to meaningful integration, I’d love to explore how my C.A.L.M. AI Navigator™️ framework can create a customized roadmap for your organization. My approach focuses on identifying your highest-value AI opportunities and developing practical implementation strategies aligned with your specific business objectives.

Second, I’m interested in partnering with in-house learning and development teams. If you’re responsible for upskilling your workforce on AI tools, my prompt training programs can serve as a foundational element in your broader technology adoption strategy. I’ve developed specialized modules that can be tailored to different roles and departments, ensuring everyone develops relevant AI skills rather than generic capabilities.

Third, I welcome connections with conference organizers, industry associations, and corporate training programs looking for expert-led workshops on strategic AI implementation and prompt engineering. I offer both introductory and advanced sessions designed to deliver immediate, practical value to participants.

The ideal collaboration partners are those who value a methodical, results-oriented approach to AI adoption rather than chasing the latest trends. If my perspective resonates with you, I invite you to reach out via my website at [your website] or connect directly through LinkedIn at [your LinkedIn profile]. Initial consultations are always complimentary, allowing us to explore potential synergies without obligation.
