Meet Krystal Rose

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Krystal Rose a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Krystal, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

I believe we are all born with a sense of resilience and our life experiences continue to foster it. My traumatic experiences that cultivated a need for resilience started at the age of 4 and I wouldn’t fully process the impact from those events until much later in life. Those early experiences left me fearful and unable to trust others or myself. I spent a lot of time in a state of emotional flight, running from discomfort and pain or freezing up and sabotaging any success.
I suffered from depression, anxiety, and insomnia at the early age of 15. My doctors told me that my mental illness was genetic and I would need to be on medication for the rest of my life.
I endured my mental conditions for 16 years, poorly managing the symptoms with medication. The symptoms grew stronger even with medication, and over time, I became disheartened that I would never be at peace. The turning point in my life was after losing my marriage, job, and home in the same year. As I fought suicidal ideation, my resilience was challenged when I no longer wanted to exist. Luckily, I decided not to end my life. I also decided that I would not just continue to exist as is. I would dedicate my life to finding a way to heal myself and to love my life.

That decision—to take my power back—was the first time I became aware of my resilience. The power of choosing to survive and thrive is what led me to uncovering love, grace, patience, healing, and a new love for life. The power that comes through resilience continues to shape me, my work, and how I support others today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am fascinated by the science and spirituality that has helped me to heal myself, and more so, that we all have this innate access to healing and transformation. In my quest for inner peace, I was able to uncover the root cause of my mental illness. I reprocessed my beliefs that were the source of my diseases and created new beliefs. I regulated my nervous system. I made a new mindset and behavioral patterns. I am happy to testify that I ended my mental illness and have not needed prescription for many years.
My healing process is not a groundbreaking discovery. In fact, there is plenty of scientific and spiritual proof for inner transformation and self-healing that dates back centuries. I am fortunate enough to have discovered it for myself.
After learning and practicing the modalities, I help others tap into their healing powers and transform their mind and body. While there is no one specific path for healing, I have found that some protocols are more effective than others.

I created a simplified method that combines transformative protocols to help accelerate self-transformation.
I call the combination of protocols the Neuro-Somatic Rewiring Method. This method guides clients through a powerful process of uncovering the root cause of their challenges and creating lasting change through subconscious reprogramming, somatic release, and integration coaching.

I’m the founder of The Rewired Self Coaching, where I help people transform from the inside out. I am certified in Rapid Transformation Therapy™, Hypnotherapy, EFT, CBT, NLP, Executive Coaching and Time Dynamics.

What I find most special about this work is witnessing people reconnect with themselves, watching them remember their worth, reclaim their voice, and feel safe in their mind and body again. It’s not just mindset coaching. It’s deep, transformational healing that creates a ripple effect across every area of life: relationships, career, health, and self-love.

I’m currently offering 1:1 coaching in person and remotely. I am expanding into new offerings this year to include:
✨ Transformational group coaching and online programs that enable healing at the subconscious level, regulate the nervous system, and promote sustainable change through the Neuro-Somatic Rewire Method.
✨ Live Neuro-Somatic regulation workshops that blend subconscious therapy and nervous system regulation.
✨ And a new community for entrepreneurs who understand that their inner transformation and personal growth will exponentially enhance their business and want a supportive guide and community.

At The Rewired Self Coaching, my mission is simple: everything around you begins to shift when you heal within. Your peace, your confidence, your life—it all becomes possible.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Self-awareness changed everything for me. It helped me realize that many of the thoughts and behaviors I had weren’t reallyme—they were rooted in fear, trauma, and old conditioning. The more I understood my inner world, the more I could take back control of my life.

Learning how to regulate my nervous system was essential. The body is just as impacted as the mind from trauma. My body is reacting to my thoughts. To reinforce changing my thoughts, I had to calm my body. I used to live in survival mode, constantly anxious or shut down. As I started using mind-body tools like breathwork, somatic release, and subconscious healing, I could finally feel safe in my own body.

I grew up not trusting myself or anyone else, so I was constantly in a state of fear. To remove the fear, I had to lean into trust—trust that healing was possible, trust that I could keep myself safe, and trust in making good decisions.
I developed a spiritual practice and started to believe in my higher self as my guide.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

I practice and preach value alignment, and it has been crucial in helping me navigate personal growth and challenges. When I first started to shift my mindset and mental health, I sought insight into who I was. I wanted to understand why I think and feel like I do. A simple way to learn about oneself is to explore one’s core values. When we understand our core values, we can start to understand why we are triggered, why we are inspired, and why we get emotional or frustrated. Core values help us make aligned decisions, understand ourselves more clearly, and live purposefully. This understanding leads to more profound healing, forgiveness, and growth. Alignment builds confidence because you’re living in integrity with yourself. I think value alignment is crucial to transformation because it is sustainable when growth is aligned with one’s values.
