Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Christina Pirard. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Christina , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I believe my purpose found me—but it took time, patience, and a lot of trust to fully recognize it. It started as an inner knowing, a quiet nudge in my soul that there was more to life than what I was living, even though I couldn’t quite put my finger on what “more” looked like.
For a while, I moved through life with this subtle, nagging feeling that I was meant to help people, but I didn’t yet know how. I went back to school and earned my Master’s Degree in Psychology, hoping it would give me clarity. It gave me a strong foundation, but the real shift happened when I began to follow the signs that had always been around me.
I’ve always been deeply intuitive, but I didn’t quite know how to explain what I was experiencing, nor did I think anyone would understand. Over time, I started noticing synchronicities and recurring messages from the universe. When I finally stopped dismissing them and started listening, my path began to unfold. I became certified as a Reiki practitioner, and eventually a Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master. The healing work I was doing—first on myself, then with others—began to unlock a deeper layer of purpose in me.
Then came my angel tarot journey. Even though I was already doing readings and channeling messages for people, I wanted to ground my skills with formal training. I got certified by Radleigh Valentine in his first Hay House Angel Tarot Card Certification course. That experience affirmed what I already knew: I was here to guide people, to help them heal, find self love and to help them reconnect with themselves and their soul’s truth.
My purpose didn’t come with a lightning bolt. It came with whispers, signs, and life experiences that cracked me open. It came through pain, resilience, and a relentless desire to turn my challenges into healing for others. And every step of the way, I was becoming the woman I was always meant to be.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
While I’ve been a personal trainer for many years, I always felt that my purpose went much deeper than helping people transform their bodies. Time and time again, my clients would open up to me during sessions—sharing their pain, their struggles, their dreams. I naturally stepped into the role of a guide, a support system, and it became clear that I was meant to help people heal from the inside out.
That inner knowing led me back to school, where I earned my Master’s Degree in Psychology. At one point, people would ask me, “Why aren’t you working as a therapist?” But something in me knew I wasn’t meant to follow a traditional path. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, there are certain restrictions—and I’ve always thought outside the box. I wanted to merge what I learned academically with my spiritual gifts and intuitive nature.
Now, I work as an Intuitive Life Coach, Reiki Master, and Angel Tarot Card Reader, blending science, energy, and soul work. What excites me most is being able to support people on a deeper emotional and energetic level—to help them reconnect with their worth, their light, and their purpose. My goal is to become a globally recognized spiritual healer and leader—not for fame, but to truly make a difference in the world.
It hasn’t always been easy for me to be visible or put myself out there. I’m naturally a private, shy person. But I couldn’t ignore the calling. I’ve been in dark places before, feeling hopeless and broken, and with divine guidance (especially from the angels), I found my way back to the light. Now, I want to be that light for others—especially for those who feel stuck, lost, or like life will never get better.
While I’m not launching any new services or products at the moment, my dreams are big. I plan to write my first book, lead workshops on self-love, host healing retreats, and eventually design my own angel oracle card deck. My vision is to one day be a published author with Hay House and continue expanding my reach to help others worldwide.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
One of the biggest qualities that’s helped me along my journey is resilience. I’ve faced a lot of challenges, roadblocks, and yes—even naysayers. There were moments when I felt like giving up, but something inside me always pushed me to keep going. No matter how many times I got knocked down, I found a way to get back up and keep moving forward.
Another big one is empathy. I’ve always been the type of person people come to when they need to talk or need support. Even as a kid, I naturally took on that role. People often tell me I have a calm, comforting energy and that I’m easy to talk to—and I take that as one of my greatest gifts. It’s helped me connect with others on a deeper level and be a safe space for healing.
And of course, intuition has been a major guidepost for me. I’m an empath, so I don’t just hear people—I feel them. Sometimes I pick up on emotions or pain they haven’t even spoken out loud. It’s a blessing… most of the time. (Okay, sometimes it’s a curse—like when you’re just trying to buy your groceries and suddenly feel someone’s midlife crisis from aisle three!)
As for advice for those just starting out: follow the nudges. If you feel called to do something, even if it doesn’t fully make sense in the moment—take that step. That’s exactly what I did. I followed the signs, one puzzle piece at a time, and now I can see how it all fits together. Also, start learning about the things that truly light you up. Take a class, read books, get certified—whatever excites you. Over time, those small steps can lead to something much bigger than you imagined.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
One book that has truly impacted my personal and spiritual development is You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. I read it a long time ago, but it still sits on my nightstand, and I return to it whenever I need a reminder of the power of self-love and belief.
One of the most powerful tools Louise teaches is mirror work—looking yourself in the eye and saying, “I love you, [your name]. I really, really love you.” Every day, I try to say, “I love you, Christina. I really, really love you. All is well in my world. I am safe.” It feels awkward at first, but over time, it’s incredibly healing.
Louise also emphasized the importance of forgiveness, of letting go of past pain, and how illness or emotional struggles often stem from unresolved mental and emotional patterns. Her work reminded me—and still reminds me—that healing isn’t just about the physical body, but about the mind and spirit, too.
As someone who teaches and practices the mind-body-spirit connection, I’ve seen firsthand—especially through Reiki—that physical illness is often connected to emotional wounds, painful memories, or unhealed energy from the past. Louise Hay’s teachings deeply support this view: that when we heal the inner emotional and energetic root, we often see the physical symptoms lessen or disappear. It’s something I deeply believe and share with my clients, and it’s a core part of the healing work I do today.
