We recently connected with Mr & Mrs Jenkins and have shared our conversation below.

Mr & Mrs , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

Growing up me and my husband saw our mother make the amazing things happen in a impossible situations seeing your parents strive and stay focus to create space that is comfortable and rewarding impacted both of tremendously we have taken those positive qualities and made them a staple in our life and business.Things aren’t always easy and sometimes certain situations can make your rethink why you even started your business but you have to keep your roots and your values close so that in those tough times you stay focused and conquer the issues that arise

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We would love for everyone to know that our company thrives to become better each and everyday we have been vigilant in doing research trying to constantly make sure that we are up to date on the new things in the event planning business while making sure that we are affordable to our clients as parents ourselves we know that creating a memorable event for friends and family may not always be feasible but we try and make sure that we are able to cater to all clients with all budgets

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Things things that are extremely important would be to do your research constantly on the field that you intend to embark on also make sure that you are well versed on what is required by your state and city for that dream to come through so that you are completely aware and there are no surprises that may stop you from progressing the very last thing is to be financially aware of the expenses that may arise during the start of your business always make sure that you able fully make your business thrive

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

Things can definitely get overwhelming being parents and full time business owners but we try as much as possible to create time where we can unwind and relax from the day to day stressors such as movie nights our kids or something simple yet rewarding such as family bbq’s with just us and the kids because as strange as it sounds the chaos of our kids grounds us and helps us to remember why we do all that we do it’s like a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by the ones we love the most
