Hi Darris , thank you so much for making time for us today. Let’s jump right into a question so many in our community are looking for answers to – how to overcome creativity blocks, writer’s block, etc. We’d love to hear your thoughts or any advice you might have.
The best way to overcome/beat creativity blocks is by surrounding yourself by other creatives. We might not do the exact same things but we are all creatives. Sometimes it is all about energy. If you keep good energy around you and circulating, you will not have to worry about blocks.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a private chef/caterer that also curates vibes and creates food content. I am looking to grow more as I reached my 5 year milestone in April. So far so many doors have opened for me filled with opportunities. I am excited to see what is next.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three things that have been the most impactful in my journey that I possess is resilience, being receptive to change, and the desire for more.
I encourage those who just started to set small goals and celebrate your wins. Follow that up with making your goals bigger. Also align yourself with folks who are also in the creative space to help each other grow.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Definitely. I really want to work with more chef and food content creators, whether they are aspiring or well established. I want to push the bounds of our creativity by collaborating.
I am also not opposed to collaborate with anyone who doesn’t mind being a muse either. Anything is possible.
