We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alysia Lyons. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alysia below.
Alysia, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I believe we are all born with confidence and self-esteem. Don’t believe me? What’s a 3 or 4 year old dance and sing in front of the mirror. Unfortunately, we don’t always get encouraged by those around us to continue to foster our confidence and self=esteem. It’s not always intentional-sometimes are our parents are busy, stressed or frustrated when they tell us to “be quiet”, “stop singing”, “you’re in my way.” After years of coaching sessions, I have found my way back to that three year old little girl who loved to sing and dance along with Amy Grant on the TV
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a certified coach, energy healer, and holistic guide, and I help overwhelmed moms release guilt and reclaim peace in their daily lives. Through my signature P.E.A.C.E. Assessment and a unique blend of practical strategies and spiritual insight, I support women who are navigating major life transitions—whether emotional, relational, or physical. What makes my work special is how I weave together Reiki, NLP coaching, and intuitive tools to create a personalized experience that leads to deep healing, self-awareness, and empowerment.
What excites me most is witnessing that powerful moment when a woman reconnects with her inner strength—when she begins to trust herself again. My work isn’t about fixing anyone; it’s about helping women remember who they truly are and guiding them toward a life filled with calm, confidence, and clarity.
In addition to my 1:1 coaching and healing sessions, I also host a podcast called Imperfect Mommying, and I regularly lead workshops and community events. Right now, I’m expanding my offerings to include an online course designed to help moms create peaceful homes from the inside out. If you’re feeling stretched thin or seeking a deeper connection to yourself, my work offers a grounded, heart-centered path back to peace.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Having support from someone who has been on my journey was the only way I was able to get back to my original self-esteem and confidence. Without support, I would still be spinning my wheels, hoping to achieve my dreams while drowning in the mud.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My parents let me be me for the most part. Neither of them told me what or who to be when I grew up. They were there when I needed advice or support but they never told me who I was was wrong
