Meet Kelly Elsas

We recently connected with Kelly Elsas and have shared our conversation below.

Kelly, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.

It’s hard to fully explain –

But, I deeply admire my friends who are honest, kind, and have genuinely good hearts. I love giving thoughtful gifts and making the time to really listen to my close friends and family without judgment. It feeds my soul and means a lot to me. I also believe strongly in giving without expectations. Whether it’s time, energy, or a gift, I give because I genuinely want to—not because I expect anything in return. If something good comes from it, that’s great. But, I don’t give with any strings attached. That’s just not who I am. I also truly believe there’s enough success and love to go around. When something good happens to a friend, I feel it too—like we’re all in it together in a way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be walking the runways in Paris and Milan, I’m not sure I would’ve believed you. This year, that dream became real—and I’m still letting it sink in. Every time I step onto a runway, I feel a mix of nerves, excitement, and gratitude. Being chosen to represent a designer’s work is something I never take for granted. I love becoming part of their vision, even if just for a few moments. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, and so thankful for every opportunity along the way. I have a couple of new projects coming up in the fashion and film space that I’m really excited for you guys to see!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Everyone Is Different – Accept and love people for who they are, not who you expect them to be. Just because someone is different from you doesn’t mean they’re wrong. In fact, you can learn a lot from those who see the world differently than yourself.

2. Life Is Full of Changes – You’re always one meeting, one moment, or one decision away from the next chapter of your life. Everything can change tomorrow—for better or for worse. So, embrace the highs and the lows, and try to be grateful for each moment as it comes.

3. One Day It’ll All Make Sense – All of your lessons and challenges are not for nothing. It’ll help you evolve, if you allow it.

4. Keep going – You’re closer to your goals than you think.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz:

Speak with Integrity –
Say only what you mean and use your words with kindness and truth.

Always Do Your Best –
Give your best effort in every situation. Your best will vary from moment to moment, but doing your best helps you avoid self-judgment and regret.
