Meet Mike Kelleher

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mike Kelleher. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Mike , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

Creativity is life. One of the main reasons I was drawn to this unique subspecialty of medicine. Aesthetic medicine allows me the ability to combine both Left and Right brain. Equal parts academia and evidence based medicine with creativity. I try to find creativity in everything, and you cannot let anyone, and more importantly yourself, say NO!. There are no stupid ideas or thoughts, everything must be explored. Also, I rarely follow anyone or look at one anyone else is doing. Not in the business of copying anyone. The only person I am in competition with is myself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Mike Kelleher, MMS, PA-C, is a trailblazer in the field of non-surgical cosmetic medicine and the visionary behind (R)Evolution Med Spa in Decatur, GA. With a career spanning over three decades, Mike’s journey began as a combat medic in the U.S. Army in 1993, later earning his degree from the prestigious Emory University Physician Assistant program. His expertise, innovation, and commitment to evidence-based medicine set him apart in the aesthetics industry.

Mike started practicing non-surgical cosmetic medicine in 2009 when he worked in dermatology. Being dedicated to excellence in scientific methodology enabled Mike to instruct at the Aesthetic Advancements Institute and the Allergan Medical Institute. Alongside his work, Mike developed educational programs for Ideal Esthetic Educators before taking corporate trainer and lead clinician roles at various national MedSpa practices.

At (R)Evolution Med Spa, Mike pioneers cutting-edge treatments that prioritize patient safety and natural results. His practice was the first in Georgia to offer EndoLift and remains the only provider of the LightScan Fractional Laser in the state. Additionally, he utilizes the Quantificare 3D imaging system, a revolutionary tool that allows precise facial and body assessments, ensuring measurable, science-backed results.

By embracing the concept of “Positive Aging” Mike forms the center of his therapeutic approach. Aging represents a precious opportunity in his view because he helps patients reach their most attractive selves while preserving their genuine appearances. He has received multiple awards such as Best Med Spa in Decatur for three straight years alongside Best Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation in Atlanta for the upcoming 2024 awards.

Through (R)Evolution Med Spa, Mike continues to redefine aesthetic medicine, offering innovative and holistic solutions that empower individuals to look and feel their best at any age.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Persistence. Never be afraid to fail. Question everything and get the right answers. Keep moving forward. Never stop!

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

My biggest area of improvement has been the ability to let go! Let go of not only the bothersome, annoying little things, but also some of the bigger things, that we have no control over. Just let it go
