Hi MagicalLeeMe, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?

I originally grew up in the Boston, Massachusetts area and I spent my whole life there. I had hit a point where I had been feeling stuck for a few years and then the pandemic hit. At first it felt like things were falling apart because my job had laid off a bunch of employees including myself. It was then that I took some time to really start thinking about what I actually wanted in life. My partner and I had been talking for years about how we wanted to move to Florida to get our social media to take off and try to work on becoming full time content creators. I was scared to move and leave everything I knew but what scared me more was never taking that chance. The risk of never trying and never knowing what could have been really didn’t sit well with me. I’m not saying that moving to Florida was easy and I’m not a full time content creator quite yet but I’m so proud of myself and my partner for taking that risk.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m a content creator working on a few different projects right now with my partner. We have our social media accounts we work on and also our podcast. We like to keep our viewers informed of the newest theme park updates but we also review movies, tv shows, food, and more!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Staying on top of what’s happening, persistence, and being genuine. I know it’s cliche to say but I find the most important thing you can do is to be yourself and to not give up when things get hard. If it’s something you really want to pursue you should keep working at it.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

My partner has been my biggest supporter. Whenever I’ve felt like giving up on something, he reminds me why I started it in the first place and cheers me on.
