We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tim Robinson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tim below.
Tim, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from two key places: my parents and my experience playing sports at a high level. My parents always led by example. They never just talked about working hard—they lived it. Whether it was their careers, responsibilities at home, or the way they supported others, they showed me what it means to stay committed, be disciplined, and take pride in everything you do.
Sports reinforced those lessons in a powerful way. Competing at a high level required early mornings, long practices, and pushing myself even when no one was watching. It taught me that consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. The court became a training ground—not just for the sport, but for life.
Between the values my parents instilled in me and what I learned through sports, hard work isn’t just something I do—it’s part of who I am.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m deeply passionate about using my work to inspire and make a lasting impact. My journey has been shaped by faith, creativity, and relentless determination—each step bringing me closer to the purpose I now live out daily. Whether through music, business, or ministry, everything I do is rooted in a desire to build something meaningful that uplifts others.
Professionally, my focus is on growing my Christian artists agency. What excites me most is the opportunity to serve alongside incredibly gifted artists, helping them share messages of hope and truth with the world through their music. It’s more than just bookings—it’s about ministry, connection, and amplifying voices that carry purpose.
What makes this work so special to me is that it’s not just about performance or platforms—it’s about impact. Whether I’m leading, creating, or supporting behind the scenes, I strive to bring authenticity, excellence, and intention into everything I do.
Right now, I’m especially energized by some exciting collaborations we’re developing. It truly feels like a season of expansion and alignment, and I’m deeply grateful for the doors God is opening and the people I get to walk this journey with.
At its core, my brand is about more than running an agency—it’s about building a mission-driven community that reflects my values and serves others in a meaningful way.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three things have been absolutely foundational in my journey: discipline, relationship-building, and a willingness to learn.
1. Discipline:
Talent can open doors, but discipline is what keeps them open. Whether it was during my years as an athlete or now as an entrepreneur, showing up consistently—especially when it’s hard—is what builds momentum. For anyone early in their journey, I’d say: don’t wait for motivation. Build systems and routines that keep you moving even when inspiration fades.
2. Relationship-Building:
Success has never been a solo act. The people you surround yourself with—mentors, peers, collaborators—can either fuel your vision or distract you from it. I’ve learned that intentional relationships are everything. My advice: don’t network just to get something. Build genuine connections, serve others, and stay rooted in integrity. The right relationships will open doors you didn’t even know existed.
3. A Willingness to Learn:
No matter how far you go, there’s always more to learn. Staying curious and coachable has helped me grow through both wins and setbacks. For those starting out: invest in yourself. Read, ask questions, stay humble, and don’t be afraid to try, fail, and try again. Growth happens when you lean into the uncomfortable.
No matter where you’re starting from, those three things—discipline, relationships, and learning—will take you further than you can imagine.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely. I’m always open to partnering with people who are passionate about using their gifts to make a positive impact—especially in the faith-based and music spaces. Whether you’re an artist, event organizer, church leader, brand, or creative professional, if you’re aligned with a mission to inspire, uplift, and serve others through your work, I’d love to connect.
I’m particularly interested in collaborating with individuals or organizations who value authenticity, excellence, and purpose-driven creativity. From artist development and live events to ministry partnerships and creative campaigns, I’m excited about building meaningful relationships that go beyond business and lead to real kingdom impact.
